Responsibilities
· Build (Manual/Automate) of Red Hat Linux Infrastructure
o Installation/Configuration/Maintenance
o Advanced Troubleshooting
o Performance Tuning
o Capacity Management
o Preventive/Proactive Support
o Incident/Change/Problem Management
o Provide system administration support and guidance for development team’s app configuration tasks.
o Support for post-build activities like Hardening, resources extension.
o Managing and Operating Bank’s VMware vSphere IT infrastructure
o VM Provisioning/Configuration/Resizing/Maintenance
· Other IT Infrastructure Related Tasks
· Able to support on weekend as and when required.
Skills/Requirement
Must have Skills:
- · Having 6+ years of extensive experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.x/7.x/8.x Administration.
- Must Have: Intensive experience in building RHEL for JBOSS/WebSphere/WebLogic, Oracle DB with VCS cluster is a must & Intensive experience in supporting RHEL in DMZ is a must.
- · Experience with using Patching tools like Bladelogic, Bigfix., etc.
- · Hands-on experience on Ansible, Terraform, Chef tools to automate the Build procedures.
- · Knowledge of using Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins pipelines.
- · Shell Scripting
- · HPE ProLiant Hardware
- · Professional understanding of networking related to RHEL.
- · Professional understanding of SAN Storage related to RHEL.
- · Good understanding of large Data Center Facilities operation
- · Hands-On experience supporting Infrastructure agents (NetBackup, BMC Patrol etc.) (Mid-Level) vSphere 5.x and 6.x
