Key Responsibilities

1. Budget and Headcount Management: Oversee and manage the overall budget and headcount, developing and implementing programs to improve cost-effectiveness, safety, and manufacturing standards.
2. Workplace Safety and Health: Ensure departmental safety and health compliance by conducting regular safety checks and inspections, promoting a safe working environment.
3. ECR Reduction: Lead and manage the reduction and closure of Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) through regular inspections and effective change management processes.
4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with MS Control systems, policies, SOPs, and all regulatory requirements, conducting regular meetings and checks for QESH MS, ISO, and regulatory compliance. \
5. Production Management: Ensure smooth and efficient production operations by planning and monitoring production material requirements and schedules, implementing and enforcing SOPs for production processes, and coordinating with external vendors, HQ staff, and other departments.
6. New Product Implementation: Lead new product implementation and manage process changes, ensuring that all new products and processes meet quality and safety standards.
7. Staff Development: Conduct regular coaching and feedback sessions, monitor employee performance, and support staff development to ensure a highly skilled and competent production team.

Entry Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in chemical manufacturing, with 5 years in a similar role.
• Experience with ISO certification processes.
• Strong knowledge of chemical plant management and ESH regulations.
• Strong planning, people management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Maintain and update documents and records related to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 13485 systems
• Establish and maintain proper documentation control and distribution
• Conduct internal and external audits
• Liaise with external auditors and certification bodies
• Generate monthly reports
• Review and update Quality Management System procedures
• Ensure system compliance
• Manage internal and external corrective action reports
• Plan and conduct periodic system audits
• Maintain and regularly review calibration and preventive maintenance for instruments and equipment
• Direct and head internal audit programs and recommend improvements for internal audit policies and procedures

Requirements: -

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in QMS and ISO 9001 audit, preferably in manufacturing industries
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 13485 quality system
• Knowledge in preparing FMEA and Control Plans
