• Escalate issues and involve experts wherever required to resolve issues as quickly as possible and any other authorized desktop applications & Microsoft or related security patches/Policies
• Performs general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops and any other authorized peripheral equipment
• Performs remedial repairs on computers, laptops, and any other authorized peripheral equipment
• Customize desktop hardware to meet user specifications and site standards
• Resolve and update incidents with in SLA, update stakeholders for S1/P1 cases and update KB with solution provided
• Knowledge of Windows 2019 and RHEL Server management would advantageous

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To assist section head in Safety and fire related matters.
• To conduct routine checks on general safety practices in each subsidiary and propose section heads for corrective measures to be taken if required.
• To alert relevant Manger of any machinery, plant equipment, appliance or process used in each subsidiary that exposes any person to the risk of bodily injury, and to recommend appropriate corrective measures.
• To promote safe and healthy working conditions in each subsidiary through education, awareness campaigns, training courses, drills, competitions, contests and other activities under the guidance of section head.
• To act as fire and hazmat leader for the plant.
• To conduct fire and safety training to employees as and when requested.
• Approving permits and act as confined space assessor and WAH assessor.
• To assist in overseeing the HSE Management system and physical inspection daily to all plant facilities.
• To assist in document preparation and control works.
• To execute and follow up safety promotions/ programs in plant.
• To manage legal register and compliance updates.
• To undertake any other assignment given by the section head from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum WSH Level C or Degree in WSH.
• Certified Confined space assessor and Work at Height assessor.
• Preferably WSHO & Fire safety manager, but not mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years Safety experience in utility/ manufacturing/ logistic industry/ marine industries only.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Have a safety mindset and display good workplace safety behaviour.
• Be a part of the CERT team and be actively involved in emergency responses whenever called upon.

• Assists Project Manager in the co-ordination of project management activities to ensure that projects are executed in a smooth and effective manner;
• Attends external project kick-off meetings, meetings with consultants as well as technical and co-ordination meetings, daily project meetings and internal project closure meeting;
• Assists Project Manager in carrying out all shop drawings and submission with Drafting Department;
• Assists Project Manager in carrying out risk assessment and other risk management activities; makes recommendations on risk control measures; communicating risk assessment to all workers;
• Ensures all contractors are safety inducted and issued with Permit before work commencement;
• Ensures the adherence to the safe work procedure (SWP) established; to inform project manager or project director of any shortcoming in the SWP or risk control measures implemented;
• Ensures the familiarization with the scope of works;
• Resolves site problems proactively in a timely manner and seeks advice from Project Manager as appropriate;
• Ensures the timely preparation of project progress and other reports;
• Follows up on all aspects of QA/QC matters; records all defects works and ensure proper documentation;
• Co-ordinates daily activities of workers’ duties and to ensure that they are performed in a proper manner;
• Makes daily checks on work progress, housekeeping and safety implementation on site with safety personnel;
• Assists in cost control by cutting materials wastage, reducing labour cost, usage of tools and equipment, etc;
• Assists the Project Manager in conducting Mass Tool Box meeting with safety personnel;
• Ensures proper project documentation including email communication;
• Assists in promoting good team morale and team spirit in the project team;

Job Description

• Strong understanding of construction industry practices and standards to perform planning and scheduling
• Liaise with client, engineering, procurement and construction teams for purpose of developing a fully integrated baseline schedule
• Coordinate and obtain input from project team members, contractors and suppliers to support the development of various programs
• Prepare baseline schedule which includes resource and cost loadings
• Develop and maintain project schedules on complex projects in conjunction with the project team
• Update, track and report the progress against the planned, and checking of discrepancy
• Progress forecast, preparation of working programs, rolling programs and updating of resources and histograms
• Attend crucial project events to ensure compliance
• Prepares reports on operations and activities, recommending improvements and modifications

Requirements

• Possess a Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent
• At least 8 years’ of experience in large scale construction planning and scheduling
• Capable of tracking progress daily on site, work closely with frontline staff and reports and working programmes preparation
• Able to work independently and produce programmes, narrative and histograms
• Ability to lead and manage projects effectively and meet deadlines
• Able to work under pressure to ensure good site progress
• Proven record of being able to handle project independently
• Self-motivated with good organizational skills and ability to liaise with Statutory Authorities

Job Description

• To prepare, coordinate and update the planning requirements program of the project with the objective of ensuring that the program is aligned with target.
• To update the Project Construction program and status of the program in order to generate weekly and monthly reports with respective trend charts
• To prepare and issue program updates as required for internal and client reporting in order to ensure progress is in line with planned objective

• Prepare documents/samples submission schedule to control the sequence and timing for samples submission/approval with preferable float time allowed for procurements.
• Co-ordinate all related design matters with Consultants/ Client.
• Ensure main contract and sub-contract designs co-ordinated fulfil all design requirements.
• Co-ordinate with Contract team for any formal and informal changes made by Consultants.
• Co-ordinate with Contract team for proper sequence of sub-contract awards.
• Resolve technical problems for team.
