Job Description:

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Engineering
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience in executing testing and developing test automation solutions involving devices (UI-based or embedded) and/or back-office systems with familiarity on the full system development lifecycle from requirement, development, to testing and deployment;
• Good written and verbal communication skills;
• Able to work well both independently as well as in a team;
• Certification in software testing preferred;
• Experience in Micro-payments/Automatic Fare Collection systems using Smart Cards and in diverse test execution phases (System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Performance testing) would be an advantage

Responsibilities:

1. Has clear understanding of cloud and on-premises infrastructure and network components.
2. Hands-on experience in implementing solutions on AWS and Azure.
3. Hands-on experience in migrating on-premises infrastructure to cloud.
4. Design and implement infrastructure in cloud based on customer requirements.
5. Implementing High Availability, Backup & Recovery solutions on Azure & AWS, and preparing technical documents.
6. Deploy, manage, and operate highly available & scalable cloud systems.
7. Has clear understanding of security components (Ex. WAF, Jump Host, proxy, key vault, multifactor authentication, Endpoint Protection, IPS, Security Incident Management, etc.)
8. Review Vulnerability Assessment and Security Assessment report, provide / implement solutions for infra and provide suggestions to application team.
9. Liaise with product vendors in implementing the cloud solutions.
10. Under minimal direction, plans and conducts research in application technologies in support of business objectives.
11. Preparing documents - the desired future state of infra-architecture, and the gaps between current and future states. Define transition plans to close the gaps.
12. Ensuring the stability, security, and performance of the cloud systems.
13. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand cloud infrastructure requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
14. Deploying, configuring, and managing infrastructure components, including servers, storage systems, virtualization platforms, and network devices.
15. Perform cloud infrastructure activities including Patch management, Antivirus and Backup operations, Install & Configure Windows server roles (Active Directory, DNS & IIS), configuration of SMTP, SFTP & DHCP, etc.
16. Conducting regular system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime.
17. Implementing security measures, including firewalls, access controls, and encryption, to protect the organization's infrastructure and data.
18. Managing backup and disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity.
19. Assessing emerging technologies and making recommendations for cloud infrastructure improvements and optimizations.
20. Documenting infrastructure configurations, procedures, and processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certified in both Azure and AWS minimally in one of the following areas Administration, Architecture, & DevOps
• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer.
• Good knowledge of infrastructure components, including servers, storage systems, networking, and virtualization.
• Understands clustering concepts (Windows & SQL), (DR) & High-Availability (HA), Knowledge on Load balancers, WAF & DDOS, Hypervisors & Virtualization
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Knowledge / Experience in installation / configuration of enterprise applications and tools will be a key consideration. (ex. Office 365, SharePoint, CRM, K2, and Nintex)
• Solid understanding of security principles and experience in implementing security measures.
• Proficient in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Experience with monitoring tools and methodologies for infrastructure performance and availability.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve reported issues ensuring timely resolution.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in GDC, GPC, GCC projects will be an added advantage (SG Specific)

Duties of Quality Assurance Engineer:

• Assisting in the research and development of Cement-based mortar formulations, including assessing alternative raw materials.
• Conducting tests on raw materials and finished products to ensure quality compliance.
• Validating product performance against industry standards and internal evaluation criteria.
• Ensuring products meet local regulatory standards.
• Providing manufacturing support, troubleshooting, and process improvement.
• Offering technical service, product trials, and training.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish process conditions through scientific moulding for existing/new products

• Troubleshoot moulding processes and material or equipment issues

• Evaluate tooling for areas of concern, areas of improvement for quality and efficiency, and recommend improvements to optimize moulding, set up, and overall manufacturing

• Collect and analyse data on individual processes to identify and improve process capability

• Document and maintain Mold process sheets for accuracy

• Support process technicians through training in scientific moulding practices

• Leadership role in continuous improvement and cost reduction activities

• Use Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other techniques to analyze process data to determine capabilities as well as improvements

• Manage projects, and ensure all tooling is executed smoothly and efficiently against an agreed plan

• Perform evaluation and development activities to provide solutions for technical problems to sustain and improve production yield, quality, process cycle time and cost reduction

• Lead team in problem-solving – identification of problems and analysis of the root cause

• Conduct proof of concept (POC) evaluation and design of experiments (DOE) during development, establish baseline process and metrics

• Lead design of experiments (DOE) to establish a stable and robust process that can be handed off to production personnel •

Requirement

• Diploma in Engineering or Sciences

• Min. 5 years’ experience in plastic injection moulding environment

• Experience in process capability studies and tooling technical incline is a plus
