• Public cloud delivery know-how with AWS and/or Azure

What will you do?

The Team aims to spearhead the digital transformation of government. The GCC (Government Commercial Cloud) platform provides a federated agency hosting and infrastructure through modern cloud architecture implementation and the modernising of Government applications through adoption of agile development practices.

The Team is seeking independent and motivated Solution Engineer who has experience in both small and big scale cloud-based projects, to support agencies and the GCC product team to create value in the GCC platform. This role will work closely with the agency users, GCC product and partnering teams, using a collaborative approach with strong technical understanding, to assist and ensure that the GCC platform continues to add value to agencies.

As a Solution Engineer, you will be required to:

• Work directly with GCC engineering team, product team and various key stakeholders.
• Support development of proof-of-concepts for GCC platform in concert with product team and various stakeholders.
• Take ownership of end-to-end solutions provided by teams across the organisation.
• Provide system troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains, expect to participate in on-call escalations to troubleshoot customer facing issues.
• Assist in the migration activities for GCC platforms.

What are we looking for?

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.
• User-centric mindset. Be able to represent users’ viewpoints on GCC in order to drive changes & innovations to meet their needs.
• Passion for automation, standardization and best practices.
• Solid hands-on experience in designing, building, deploying and securing of highly available web application in cloud platform such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Gitlab or Azure DevOps
• Experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Go
• Good understanding of network components such as load balancers, firewalls, VPNs, and DNS.
• Good understanding of DevOps principles and practices, knowledge in DevSecOps will be an added advantage.
• Self-motivated with good communication skills.

• High attention to detail, accuracy, and meticulousness in handling figures and processes in a high-agility environment.

Preference:

Experience with managing cloud infrastructure and services on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development of ECG medical devices, from initial concept and design to testing, validation, and market launch.
• Collaborate with clinicians, engineers, and product managers to define product specifications and ensure alignment with clinical needs and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the integration of hardware and software components to ensure the ECG devices meet performance, safety, and usability standards.
• Drive the design of user-friendly interfaces and workflows that enhance the clinical application of ECG devices.
• Ensure compliance with medical device regulations (such as FDA, CE, ISO 13485) and prepare all necessary documentation for regulatory submissions.
• Manage risk analysis, quality control processes, and testing protocols to ensure device safety and reliability.
• Lead the collaboration with external partners, including suppliers, testing laboratories, and certification bodies, to ensure the device meets global standards.
• Stay current with advancements in medical technology and ECG innovations, incorporating the latest scientific research into the product development process.

Requirements:

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in medical device development, with a focus on ECG devices or other diagnostic equipment. Proven track record of taking medical devices from concept to market is highly valued.
• Technical Expertise: Strong background in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field. Experience with ECG signal processing, device hardware design, and software integration is essential.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of global medical device regulations (e.g., FDA 510(k), CE marking, ISO standards) and experience with regulatory submissions and compliance processes.
• Project Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects, manage cross-functional teams, and coordinate with external stakeholders to deliver high-quality medical devices on time and within budget.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and developing solutions in the development process.
• Attention to Detail: Rigorous attention to detail in the design, testing, and documentation of medical devices to ensure they meet the highest standards of safety and efficacy.
