As an Instructor, you will lead a team of Volunteers / Facilitators to conduct M.Y Strong Reader sessions to preschoolers between 4 – 6 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Manage Class Aides and conduct weekly briefings about sessions
• Prepare session materials and ensure smooth running of sessions
• Create a fun learning environment for Class Aides and children
• Lead and supervise Class Aides to run Learning Journeys and weekly sessions
• Lead programme activities including but not limited to parent-child bonding day,as required or called upon
• Liaison with on-site teachers and principals as needed

Requirements

• Must have prior experience in working with preschoolers and/or classroom management
• Must be open to traveling to different locations around Singapore
• Diploma/Degree in any discipline, Early Childhood preferred
• Passionate about reading and working with preschoolers
• Resourceful and good problem-solving skills
• Strong collaborative and communication skills with stakeholders
• Confident in team leading a diverse group of people from all walks of life

Job Requirement:

· 5 “O” level credits including Chinese Language for Chinese Language Teacher positions

· Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in early childhood education.

· Preferably with L2 certified
