RESPONSIBILITIES

The Early Intervention for Children (EIC) Services helps equip children with motor, communication, social, self-help and cognitive skills. THK EIC involves structuring classes around small groups encompassing early childhood special education, social work and therapy support services to stimulate their adaptive functioning and school readiness skills.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist Lead Teacher in classroom and engagement of children
• Conduct small group activities when required e.g. routines such as CIrcle Time
• Assist Lead Teacher in carrying out therapeutic interventions as instructed
• Ensure that students are well supervised during contact time in the centre
• Brainstorm and plan activities to support students' learning
• Preparing teaching resources
• Support students' toileting needs
• Receive and discharge the students before and after classes
• Take class attendance and compute attendance summary
• Conduct health and temperature checks
• Maintain a clean, tidy, safe and conducive learning environment

Your Responsibility

• Manage a class size between 6-10 students.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

· Understanding curriculum standards and Principles of Tamil languages.

UWCSEA Dover has a vacancy for August 2025 for a Teacher of High School and Middle School Design Technology.

The successful candidate must be experienced and passionate about teaching Design and Technology. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons, helping students grasp key concepts and complete their daily homework and spelling tasks.

Requirements:

Subject Knowledge and Methodological Competence

· Understanding curriculum standards and Principles of Biology.

Responsibilities:

Identify the needs of students through diagnostic procedures and align instructional objectives to these needs. Plan, prepare, and execute appropriate lessons, utilizing appropriate resource materials and activities.

1. Maintain student records as required by the school.
2. Communicate with parents, students, and other professional staff regarding student progress (behavioral and academic).
3. Follow the prescribed scope and sequence of curriculum and assessment as scheduled.
4. Follow school policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and guidelines and the provisions of the contract.
5. Assess student learning and progress toward learning standards regularly and provide progress reports as required.
6. Maintain proper discipline in the classroom and on the school premises utilizing teacher created discipline plans in conjunction with a school-wide discipline plan.
7. Inform the administration if/when unable to fulfill any duty assigned. Prepare adequate information and materials for a substitute teacher.
8. Employ a variety of instructional aides, methods, and materials that will promote best practices in order to reach the whole child, as stated in the ICS mission statement.
9. Impact student learning through mastery of the subject material by utilizing varied teaching techniques to achieve curriculum goals within the framework of the school’s philosophy.
10. Ensure Biblical Worldview Integration throughout the curriculum.
11. Complete lesson/unit plans, Atlas, ESO documentation, and PLC expectations within specified time frames.
12. Plan and lead student Chapel when called upon.
13. Plan and Supervise extracurricular activities, organizations, and outings as assigned.
14. Complete the Christian Philosophy of Education in-service program within the first three years of teaching at ICS.
15. Attend and participate in devotions, teachers’ meetings, evening programs (if involving his or her students or as requested by the administration), and other meetings as assigned.
16. Carry out supervisory duty as assigned (before school, break, lunch, after school).
17. Maintain a classroom in a clean and educationally stimulating environment.
18. Maintain regular and accurate attendance and grade reports that provide comprehensive information for each student’s learning progress.
19. Keep students, parents, and the administration informed of students’ progress or deficiencies, and provide sufficient and timely notice to parents when students fail to meet learning standards.
20. Submit all appropriate reports to the administration, guidance office, and business office as required by school regulations or as requested.
21. Work with the administration in implementing all policies, procedures, and directives governing the school's operation.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree

Hiring Teacher to teach:

• IGCSE Secondary 2 to 4 Mathematics / Additional Mathematics

Salary range (Full Time): $3000 to $3500 per month (commensurate with experience)

Location: Orchard Campus

Working hours: Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and conduct lessons according to the course syllabus and scheme of work
• Provide necessary supervision to the students and report students’ discipline issues to the Student Affairs staff
• Schedule and prepare examination papers and assignments
• Monitor the performance and progress of each student, including academic counselling
• Give feedback to Management about the continual improvement of the class performance
• Mark and grade all course work, assignments and examination papers
• Give feedback to Management on the course proceedings at the end of semester/course/modules
• Participate in programme review meetings
