• Devising and implementing methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the
  precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
• Designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment.
• Conducting quality assurance tests and performing statistical analysis to assess the level of

• Undertaking root cause analysis of incidents requiring corrective action.

· Good knowledge of engines especially slow speed engines which is a must; experience with medium, high speed diesel and gas engine would be an advantage.

· Possesses good leadership attributes, able to lead a team of technicians to achieve given task.

· Independently to perform inspection, installation (incl. engine alignment), repair, upgrading, troubleshooting and overhaul of diesel engines and auxiliary equipment.

· Ability to communicate with customer/ship owner reps/Class/sub-contractor including arrangement of work/entry permit through email and phone.

· Be prepared to travel extensively.

· Able to prepare a hand-written work done, with data recorded as per format templates and service report with photos, upon completion of job.

1. Assist project manager with day to day on-site monitoring, project implementation and scheduling.

2. To schedule, co-ordinate, implement and manage projects- in part or wholly- to ensure timely work progress, goods or services delivery on schedule, while taking into account the budgeted qualities and cost.

3.Ensuring that work is carried out according to approved plans, regulations and contract specifications.

4. Accountable for the safety and quality of the project.

5.Conduct project progress meetings, as well as reviewing schedules.

6.Manage the project team’s training.

7.Liaising with consultants and sub-contractors.

• Experience in physical system and storage hardware, storage management software and storage networking including disaster recovery.
• Knowledge of registry, permissions, and drivers and software required.
• Understand basic WAN / LAN concepts and the TCP/IP protocol stack.
• Working experience with VM virtualization, Patch management, networking, security, and administration of Linux, RedHat or UNIX related Operating System.
• Working experience with physical server such as HPE Proliant and Dell Server.
• Knowledge of SAN, ISCSI, NAS, DFS, SMB, NFS, SFTP and other backup and restore technology.
• Certifications such as Linux, RedHat or UNIX related Operating System will be advantage.
