- Inspect the construction site to ensure all facilities and equipment relevant to the maintenance of environmental health are in proper working condition and do not pose any environmental health hazard;

- Point out and discuss environmental health irregularities such as mosquito and fly breeding, rodent infestation, noise/ dust/ smoke/water pollution, poor housekeeping, earth littering, poor refuse management, poor maintenance of sanitary facilities, etc. with the occupier of the construction site and recommend measures to rectify such irregularities;

- Attend to all feedback on such irregularities and inform the occupier of the construction site accordingly;

- Report and submit a Site Environmental Control Report to the occupier of the construction site once every monthly

- Assist the authorities to investigate outbreaks of infectious, vector borne or food-borne diseases on the construction site;

- Organize campaigns, training courses and other activities to develop and sustain the interest of workers in maintaining good environmental health standards in the construction site.

- The Environmental Control Officer (ECO) is responsible for introducing Environmental Awareness to all Workers / Staff at Site.

- The role of an ECO is to advise the occupier of the construction site on what needs to be done.

- The ECO shall look out for conditions/ situations in construction site which causes environmental health problems or are likely to cause environmental health problems. He should report these conditions/ situations to the occupier of the construction site together with recommendations on remedial measures to be taken to prevent recurrence. The main areas where the ECO should pay attention to are:Disease-bearing insects and rodents;

Ø Proper disposal of construction waste/ marine clay;

Ø Noise, air and water pollution;

Earth Control Measures Officer (ECMO)

- Specific responsibilities and duties of the Earth Control Measures Officer shall emphasize on the following main areas of concern:Implementation of Earth Control Measure (ECM) Plan according to the QECP’s design

- Work closely with and assist the Qualified Erosion Control Professional (QECP) and other stakeholders on all matters related to the earth control measures for the project site

- Devise the effective operation of earth control measures for the project site

The Singapore Anti-Money Laundering Department, part of Anti Financial Crime, supports Deutsche Bank businesses in Singapore in managing AML risk, is responsible for ensuring related processes are in place and that all policies, procedures and guidelines conform to internal DB policies and MAS regulations. Your key responsibilities:

The AML Officer’s responsibilities include working within the existing AML team to:

• Assist in the continued implementation of the applicable Group and divisional Policies on AML and KYC, through working closely with Client Onboarding colleagues and carrying out quarterly AML controls over relationships in Wealth Management Division.
• Decide on new or existing Singapore relationships that are escalated by the local onboarding staff or deciding to escalate further.
• Assist in the maintenance of the Singapore or entity-level AML policies, procedures and AML Compliance program, as well as the annual Risk Analysis and the coordination of updates to Regional/Global AML.
• Assist in validation of the AML Monitoring parameters and Transaction Screening databases and being the approval point for client third party payments.
• Assist in the review of New Product Approval requests and smart sourcing initiatives for Singapore where appropriate.
• Assist in the fulfillment of local regulatory information requests from MAS and CAD, or within regulatory inspections.
• Assist in the Suspicious Transaction Reporting process to investigate AML Transaction Monitoring and other alerts including hits against the payment filter and ensure suspicious transactions in Singapore are reported to the authorities and appropriately logged.
• Providing or assisting the provision of training on local regulatory requirements and internal policies, along with producing training materials.

Your skills and experience:

• 6+ years’ experience AML practitioner with holistic AML / Financial Crime knowledge and skills
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience/exposure in private banking/high networth segments
• Prior related experience in fronting stakeholders for discussions
• Work experience in a regulator or financial institution
• Degree qualified
• Relevant AML or related certifications (CAMS, CFE, IntDipAML)
• Understanding one or more of the business areas of investment banking, corporate banking, trade finance, asset management and/or private bank, and risk profile of each category.
