Job Scope

Admin Support Officer

• To label and keep records of existing and new Science teaching and learning materials and laboratory apparatus such as teachers’ desk copies, reference books, DVDs, lab apparatus and chemicals, etc;
• To maintain loan records of Science Resources;
• To pack and organize the resources in the Science Rooms. Ensure that the Science rooms are clean and conducive for lessons;

• To ensure proper disposal of waste materials such as sharp waste objects and chemicals;
• To ensure safety of students in the Science rooms. Record and report any incidents to Science HOD / LH. Maintain a laboratory incident log book;
• To check that safety devices in the laboratory, such as emergency eye-washers, showers and fire extinguishers are working;
• To perform any duties assigned by the Science HOD / Level Representative.
