Marketing Manager Responsibilities

Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures and case studies

Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals

Marketing Manager Requirements

Unleash the Roar! (UTR!), is the national football project that aims to uplift the Singapore football ecosystem while inspiring and uniting the nation. It is co-led by Sport Singapore (SportSG) and the Football Association of Singapore (FAS).

You will be part of the growing UTR! team that will help implement plans for football development, high performance pathways and industry development to make football a viable career option. You will play a pivotal role in executing UTR!’s internal and external communications and engagement strategies. You will help plan, execute and monitor communication strategies (both traditional and digital), ensuring proactive and consistent messaging to enhance UTR!’s reputation and nurture positive stakeholder relations.

Reporting to the Team Lead of UTR! Communications & Engagement, you will be responsible for the following:

Engagement:

• Develop a deep understanding of the Singapore football ecosystem (both public and private sectors) and build trust with key members of the community
• Identify and map UTR!’s strategic stakeholders (including media outlets), key personalities & audiences for high-impact engagement
• Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies and plans to proactively engage and build positive, long-term relationships with critical internal and external stakeholders to promote alignment and commitment towards UTR!’s vision and mission
• Supervise and work closely with the team on the implementation of initiatives (such as regular dialogues with key stakeholders, and also effort through digital platforms) to strengthen engagement and develop loyalty and support
• Develop partnerships with new stakeholders for possible collaboration, while maintaining and deepening existing relationships
• Host and coordinate visits from external stakeholders ensuring a positive experience to build deeper engagement and relationships

Operations:

• Contribute to the planning and execution of key UTR! engagement events, including stakeholder engagement sessions and media opportunities
• Support the curation of the workflow of events operations to ensure that UTR! events operate well and delivers on the desired outcomes
• Manage and assist media outlets to cover these events, including organising media kits, facilitating interviews and generating media coverage reports
• Manage invites for stakeholders to both UTR! and non-UTR! organised events

Others:

• Monitor industry trends and communication strategies of other key ecosystem players to stay ahead of the curve
• Provide secretariat support for Management Meetings on Communications & Engagement matters

Responsibilities

• Provide contract management, bid management and post contract management support.
• Manage the sales, bid support team and senior management representatives to meet the customers RFP requirements correctly.
• Analyze and advise on the solution, delivery, 3rd party, legal and finance risks associated with the bid accurately.
• Obtain the relevant internal management approvals in the tight RFP timelines.
• Review end to end tender proposal submissions, customer and 3rd party agreements for signing.
• Troubleshoot and lead the sales and bid support teams to find the correct solutions to bid problems.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experiences in drafting and negotiating complex:Customer contracts (e.g. RFP’s, RFQ’s, quotations, ITQ’s, MOU’s, letters of intent, NDA’s, etc); and
  3rd party contracts (e.g. reseller, partner, teaming, subcontracts, SOW’s, MSA’s, etc).
  
• Degree qualified (if in Law, Contract Management, Business or equivalent a bonus)
• Minimum 5 years of experiences in managing complex tender bids and third party back to back contract negotiations
• Experiences in the Telco and ICT industries

• This role oversees Singtel Singapore IT Budgets and Contracts throughout their lifecycle which involves budget planning, creation of contracts, reviews, negotiations, recommendation, record keeping, tracking of spending and change management (Change of contract contents such as revision of contract clauses, inventory, address, contracts, and other information related to contracts).
• Works with various teams in Singtel Singapore IT and Group IT in establishing contracts and agreement for hardware maintenance, software license and professional service engagement contracts, that reflects the requirement, scope of work and interest of the service owner and the company.
• This role is also required to support regular Contract Risk Assessment, all other budgets & financial reporting, and related events

Make an Impact by:

Finance Management

• Drive and support Annual Operating Plan (AOP) cycle and activities. This includes forecast and actual budgeting submission for OPEX for the Singtel Singapore IT divisions.
• Facilitate and drive stakeholders to provide the financial plan for new or upcoming initiatives, projects, or cost optimization plan.
• Engage stakeholders to contribute to budget planning during AOP period, support budget moderation and post-moderation/AOP events.
• Monitoring and tracking divisions OPEX spending and analysis of financial report, support monthly and/or quarterly financial update.
• Support AOP Stretch target on R&M

Contract Management

• Manage and responsible for all R&M contracts renewal which include inventory review, tender execution, bid review and award in accordance with procurement process and to meet contract renewal timeline and financial objective for all contracts.
• Represent IT divisions to lead various key tenders, contract renewals and risk assessment initiatives.
• Work with various team, internal and external, to finalize contract details such as inventory review with service owners to ensure the accuracy and completeness of components covered by the contracts, scope of work, SLA, and renewal periods.
• Timely contract negotiations and managing contracts is a vital skill to succeed in this role. The incumbent must ensure that all procurement governance guidelines are strictly adhered to.

General

• This role is also required to work with legal counsel, procurement, finance, and other corporate function as part of the contract life cycle management, leading the renewal of contracts through tenders, tender bid review and negotiation, recommendation, and award; and as well as regular finance reporting, update and follow ups.
• A significant component of this role requires working with internal employees, contractors, and third-party vendors to deliver quality outcomes for the business.
