• Responsible for the day-to-day IT operation, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and management of hardware and software applications, computer hardware, data network equipment, copiers, phone PBX system, CCTV system, security alarm.
• Responsible for assessing systems, diagnosing and resolving technical problems that users encounter with hardware, software, or networks.
• Ensuring the reliability, and integrity of the network infrastructure.
• Network Management, setting up and maintaining network infrastructure such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points to ensure connectivity and security.
• Implement cybersecurity measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, malware, and other cyber threats.
• ERP Administration, maintenance, and optimization of the system. Understanding the company business process flow and collaborating with different departments to enhance the ERP system as needed. Integrating with Intranet system to ensure smooth data flow.
• Analysing and understanding company process needs, such as hardware and software specifications, provides technical support to related departments and suggesting and implementing upgrades.
• Analysing databases in an application area how to optimize applications by integrating performing software or upgrades and integrating new technologies.
• Gathering of requirements, analysis, design and development of integration solutions and APIs, creating workflows and connectors to enhance system integration.

Requirements

• At least Diploma in IT, Computer Science or related studies.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience of ICT support and managing Microsoft servers’ infrastructure and Hyper V.
• Professional certifications (administration/support) from Microsoft 365, Business Central Dynamic 365, Power BI, SAP, SQL or equivalent will be a plus.
• Understanding of networking protocols and security technologies.
• Project management experience will be advantageous.
• Collaboration with different departments.

Working Hrs: 42.5hrs/weekly

Responsibilities:

1. Main Duty - Customer Service Duty (mindset has to meet the realist challenges and demands of a Primary School setting)

2. To answer phone calls, manage visitors, takes messages, responds to enquiries and provide general useful information (in a very dynamic environment where calls are volumous)

3. Able to use school implemented IT system for administrative purposes.

4. To handle daily varied demands and queries from parents / students / vendors / staff etc

5. To call pupils absentees and to check with parents on their child’s status every morning.

6. To call pupils to convey messages during ad-hoc / special events

7. To render first level assistance to walk-in pupils’ needs including sick & injured pupils. To escalate case to other colleagues in the office immediately if it is beyond superficial cases.

8. To handle / support situation when pupils’ vomit, soiled their clothes.

General Duties:

1. To assist in canteen matters, utility, FAS application, arrears fee, bus booking, etc

2. To help update the school activity notice board in the office (data accuracy is important)

3. To maintain the forms cabinet in the office. All forms must be current and to be replenished constantly.

4. To assist in general typing duties.

5. To assist in Stores supplies management during school holidays

6. To support any other general admin duties as and when required

Qualifications:

1. Full GCE ‘N’, or ‘O’ Level certificate or its equivalent

2. Good communication and inter-personal skills in reception duties, preferably in school environment

3. Good team player with high level of initiative

Contract Period:

• From 13 January 2025 to 12 January 2026.

Deployment:

• Mondays to Thursdays: 6:45am to 3:30pm, inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break
• Fridays: 6:45am to 3:00pm, inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
• Excluding two weeks during each school term break in June School holidays (middle 2 weeks) and in December School holidays (middle 2 weeks), where salary will be pro-rated based on the actual days required to report to school. If the school requires the personnel to work during these breaks, additional days will be compensated accordingly.

Scope of Works:

1. Provide customer service at the reception counter to support staff, parents, students, and visitors, including answering phone calls and addressing inquiries.
2. Maintaining and updating of data records, filing of documents, inventories etc.
3. Preparation of resources for the teaching of Science and Math Department (where applicable) and General Office.
4. Assist in any general and ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Admin Manager and School Leaders.
