• Degree in Financial Engineering preferred, or any discipline related to Banking & Finance / Economics / Statistics / Accountancy; Additional qualifications such as CFA or FRM will be advantageous
• Strong knowledge of MS Office programs

Department Duties & Responsibilities

1. Including customer credit evaluation, credit grading, trade credit insurance, internal monitoring & management;
2. Review and approve new counterparties for onboarding;
3. Evaluate credit applications through Company’s internal system;
4. Monitor credit exposures of existing customers & mitigation actions thereof;
5. Assist in applications for credit limits over approved limits and/or urgent requests for credit limit changes;
6. Keep to date with credit standing of active counterparties;
7. Monitor and review status of AR & collection trends
8. Implement improvement to existing processes and/or additional controls to address counterparty risk issues;
9. Prepare credit reports including Master counterparty list, credit utilization report and late payment list;
10. Report to Credit Committee on urgent credit issues.
11. Flag any early earning signals and manage exception reporting.

Counterparties defined are consistent with the Credit Policy shall include the following:

1. Physical trading customers; and
2. Ship owner, ship agent, cargo owner, broker & others
