• Set-up for event registration & management and support on-site registration

What we're looking for

• Diploma in Business Administration, Event Management, Sales, Marketing or a related field or equivalent experience preferred
• Experience in a sales support or event coordination role is highly desirable
• Strong organization and multitasking skills, with an ability to prioritize and meet timelines
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, with a strong emphasis on customer service
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Position: Assistant Manager in Meat Processing

Job Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Meat Processing Manager in overseeing daily operations of the meat processing facility.
2. Coordinate and supervise processing and packaging activities to meet production targets and quality standards.
3. Support developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations.
4. Assist in monitoring and maintaining inventory levels and ordering raw materials as needed.
5. Work closely with the quality assurance team to uphold hygiene and safety standards.
6. Aid in training and guiding processing staff to enhance efficiency and adherence to best practices.
7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products.

Qualifications:

• Food Science, Business Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in meat processing or food production.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control procedures.
• Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.

Skills:

• Proficient in software/tools related to meat processing, e.g., ERP systems.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a dynamic work environment.

• Price negotiations with subcontractors/partners.
• Review of cost impact (value engineering proposal/ variations)
• Able to manage/lead the team and assign tasks to the team members respectively

• Degree in Quantity Surveying/Building or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of working experience in the local building construction industry. Main contractor experience is preferred
• Experience in tendering work.
• Sound computer literacy including advanced skills in Excel. Proficient in Cubicost Glodon will be a plus.
• Familiar with all types of building tendering will be advantageous
• Bilingual will be advantageous
