As the Assistant Manager (In-Room Dining) for our Resort, you will be responsible for the smooth operations of our in-room dining service. You will be instrumental in helping us enhance our reputation for excellent customer experience by ensuring that our guests receive a memorable dining experience in the comfort of their rooms.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of our in-room dining department, including order taking, delivery, and service. As part of the role, you will be responsible for developing and updating the in-room dining menu, incorporating guests’ feedback and seasonal offerings to keep the menu fresh and appealing.
• You will play the role of a Service Ambassador by ensuring an exceptional guest experience. You will address any inquiries, resolve complaints and ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders. Additionally, you will have the remit to maintain and enforce service standards, including presentation, quality, and hygiene.
• In performing your role, it will be essential for you to ensure compliance to all necessary health, safety and hygiene regulations.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Food and Beverage Services or an equivalent professional qualification in a related field
• 4 to 6 years’ experience in a similar capacity, in a property of similar standing.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with various departments and our guests.
• Excellent organizational skills and able to multitask effectively.

Job Description – Science Laboratory Technician

Role:

This is a full-time, onsite, Science Laboratory Technician Role in MOE Primary School. If you are selected,

You will work closely with HOD/LH-Science and/or Admin Manager in an MOE Primary School (nearest MRT- Yishun) in the day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities:

• Working experience as Lab Technician in primary or secondary school.

• Prepare apparatus for science experiments before the lesson.

• Stock take of equipment and managing of materials used by science experiments periodically. Send a logistic report on the stock checking per term.

• Monitor and alert to the school for replenishment of materials.

• Assist HOD science to search for vendors on purchasing of science related equipment when necessary

• Simple repairs to any damage of electrical apparatus or any similar work related to science

• Knowledge of using and handling data logger.

• Able to render first-aid service to students if necessary.

Job Requirements:

• Have 2 years of prior experience in operations or job related experience as mentioned above

• Have basic computing skills such as Microsoft Office applications such as Words and Excel

Responsibilities:

Staffing

• Work with the hiring managers on manpower requests and ensure timely filing of vacancies.
• Manage the entire recruitment process, including candidate screening, onboarding, and offboarding. This includes but is not limited to advertising positions, conducting interviews, securing job offers, and managing internship programs.
• Administer MOM work pass application, renewal, cancellation, and other related matters.

HR Administration

• Maintain and update employees’ p-file in SharePoint, ensuring information is accurate and current.
• Monitoring of staff attendance and providing daily attendance reports to HQ HR.
• Coordinate annual medical check exercises for operational staff.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and assist in updating HR policies & procedures, and the staff handbook.

Employee Relation

• Plan and organize employee engagement programs and activities to improve employee relations and foster a harmonious and motivating work environment.

Office Administration

• Managing office supplies, such as stationery and pantry beverages, ensuring adequate stock at all times.
• Liaise with external vendors and service contractors for administrative needs.
• Sourcing and purchasing of office supplies as needed.
• Issuance of staff uniforms, monitor and ensure timely replenishment of stock
• Coordinating weekly laundry service for soiled jumpsuits and ESD shoes & booties.

Other Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by the superior or management.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Basic Certificate in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in a similar job scope, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Basic knowledge of the Employment Act and MOM regulations.
