Asian Thoracic Oncology Research Group (ATORG) is the coordinating platform for translational research for thoracic malignancies in Asia. Its mission is to advance medical knowledge of lung cancer and improve health outcomes of patients through clinical studies and scientific events.

Asia Pacific Oncology Drug Development Consortium (APODDC) was formed to foster education and collaboration between key stakeholders of cancer drug development within the Asia Pacific region, thereby improving treatment access to patients. APODDC drives regional activities in collaboration with institutions in the region and industry partners.

ATORG and APODDC operate centrally under the Clinical Trials and Epidemiological Sciences (CTE) division in National Cancer Centre Singapore.

The Senior / Executive will mainly organise events for ATORG and APODDC . The types of events include, but are not limited to, virtual, hybrid and in-person advisory board meetings, educational seminars and workshops. This role provides opportunities to interact internationally with healthcare institutions, industry partners and vendors, and manage key stakeholders at a regional level.

Main Responsibilities:

Organise events (60%)

• Responsible for managing events from startup to execution
• Communicate effectively and manage internal and external stakeholders and service providers
• Plan timeline for each event
• Draft budget, including sourcing of funding and reconciliation of funding and expenses
• Handle all logistics, inclusive of procurement (eg. venue, online/travel arrangements) and on-site management during event
• Develop marketing materials such as posters and collaterals and for social media
• Write meeting minutes, if required
• Administer pre- and post-event follow ups
• Manage agreements between key stakeholders, vendors and industry partners
• Manage manuscripts from drafting to publication.

ATORG Operations (30%)

• Manage operational duties of ATORG; this includes procurement of stationery and devices, collating of department information, updating of mailing list.
• Act as a liaison for department administrative matters

Other Duties (10%)

• Assist in any other work as assigned, which may include administrative tasks

Requirements:

• Degree, preferably in life sciences
• At least 1-2 years of events organisation experience, preferably in healthcare/ scientific research

As a Claims Executive, you will assist the Claims Manager with in-patient and out-patient medical claims for corporate clients. The role will also assist in resolving the issues and participating in activities within Claims Section as well as providing day-to-day support in management of claims partners.

You will be responsible for:

• Different facets of claims processing as assigned,
• Management of claims to ensure timely processing,
• Adjudicate medical claims with accuracy and approve claims that are within given authority limit,

Postion Overview

The Charity Officer will work closely with the senior leadership at ItsRainingRaincoats (IRR), supporting the day-to-day management of all internal operations and programs. The role involves coordinating with volunteers, managing external stakeholders, and ensuring smooth execution of IRR events and activities. The role also includes handling backend processes, operational matters, and supporting fundraising efforts. This position will report to the Head of Operations and collaborate with senior volunteer leaders to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) set by the board.

Key Responsibilities

1.Staff and Volunteer ManagementSupervise interns to execute long-term and short term programs at IRR ensuring effective workload management.
Assist in identifying future hiring needs and coordinating recruitment efforts for volunteers and interns.
Oversee the recruitment, training, and retention of volunteers for various activities and events.
Manage the volunteer database, track program milestones and other key indicators of progress at IRR.
2.Operational and Backend ManagementHandle day-to-day operational matters for IRR, including responding to stakeholder, donor, and corporate inquiries.
Ensure proper maintenance of IRR’s database, including worker information, media content, brochures, and annual reports.
Maintain accountability for the effective execution of all operational matters, ensuring smooth backend operations.
3.Event and Project ManagementExecute key IRR events and activities throughout the year, coordinating with volunteers, internal and external stakeholders.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Executive Lead and board.

5.Digital and Media OversightOversee quarterly website updates, ensuring the IRR website is current and relevant.
Manage media and communication channels, including photos, videos, and public relations materials.

Key Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in operations, program management, or a similar role within a nonprofit or charity organisation will be an added advantage.
Skills: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise with external stakeholders, volunteers, and the board.
Tech Proficiency: Competency in using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and managing digital communication platforms.
