Contract Period: from 2nd Quarter of 2024 for a provisional period of 12 calendar months.
Workinghours:
i) Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 5.30pm
ii) Saturday: 8.30am to 12.30pm
Scope of Services:
1) Perform duties at commencement of demolition works.
2) Inspect/Supervise on all Works to ensure high, quality, and safe standard complying with safety requirements/ authorities’ requirements, codes, and specifications.
3) Monitor the Demolition Works and reports to Agency/S.O. for any irregularities.
4) Assist in the review of Contractor’s method of statements, working procedures and ensure they are followed on site.
5) Monitor Contractor’s schedules, dayworks, assist in verifying progress, claims and reports submitted by Contractor including verifying and measuring variation works, provisional quantities if any.
6) Observed and comply with site safety and checks for environmental, health and safety matters on the site are properly manage by Contractor and complying with legislations; RTO shall assist Agency in conducting periodic inspections on the provision of safety measures with Contract’s safety supervisor or representative as directed by Agency and ensure Contractor rectify immediately any contravention of or non-compliance of safety measure or safety infringement.
7) Assist to resolve site issues, including coordination with adjacent occupants relating to the project works.
8) Maintaining proper record for
• Site record book.
• Attendance of the qualified person and site supervisor.
• a copy of the approved structural plans including all amendments thereto.
• all departures or deviations relating to the structural elements of the demolition works as provided by the qualified person under the Building Control Act.
• Inspection and approval of decommissioning or removal works.
• Materials and earthwork testing; and
• All other relevant testing arises in connection with the demolition and reinstatement works.
9) Perform duties related to obtaining statutory completion and/or handing over inspection to governing authorities; and
10) Perform duties assigned by Agency at post demolition phase.
Qualification, Skill & Experience:
i) Registered with BCA and accredited with JAC [IES-ACES];
ii) Equipped with minimum 5 years of site supervision experience in civil & structural works with at least one (1) completed full time supervision on a whole building demolition project involving 2 levels or more multi-storey building with reinstatement works to governing authorities/owner.
iii) Physically fit stamina, agile and mobility ready for the vigorous construction activities.
iv) Conversant with local legislations, regulations and building codes.
Self-motivation and a team player and preferably Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
