• Coordinate safety training sessions for employees, covering topics such as hazard identification, emergency response, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Conduct thorough investigations, document findings, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Conduct routine safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of emergency response plans.
• Stay updated on relevant safety regulations and standards applicable to the manufacturing and chemical industry.
• Prepare and submit safety reports, including metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Facilitate safety committees and actively involve employees in safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering or any Engineering discipline
• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in manufacturing and/or chemical industry as a Safety Coordinator or Engineer.
• Possess an Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health
• Possess a valid registration with MOM as Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) is an advantage.
• Possess Management of Hazardous Substance (MHS) course preferred
• Possess in depth knowledge of local legislation (e.g. WSH/SCDF/NEA), ISO45001, ISO14001 and procedures.
• Possess good organizational skills and meticulous.
• Independent, self-motivated with good communication skills with stakeholders, including authorities and customers.

Job Description

1. Assist Operation Director in retail operation including planning, staff training, market analysis, reports preparation

2.Responsible for the retail sales and operations of the business unit and maintaining a smooth flow of work between departments
