The position reports to the Secretary-General. The Finance and Administrative Manager shall define and implement the financial strategy of IRSG. He or she shall prepare budget statements and carry out financial and accounting management for the IRSG and prepare annual reports on the situation of the IRSG's activities. As technical manager, accountable for the correct and consistent application of policies and procedures in the management of administrative and Finance functions through the provision of technical leadership, guidance, and support to the country office and sub-offices where applicable.

Contributes to strategic planning and policy changes/formulation on administrative matters as necessary. Provides technical input to the establishment of administrative and Finance guidelines. As an Advisor to the Secretary-General, the incumbent updates staff on administrative and Finance policies, procedures, rules, and regulations, providing authoritative advice and administrative support. Decides on the appropriate application and interpretation of administrative rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Coordinates the Administration and Finance of the organisation to support policy reform in administrative and financial management; advises on the applicability of new policy directives. The Climate Transformation Programme (CTP) aims to develop, inspire and accelerate knowledge-based solutions and educate future leaders to establish the stable climate and environment necessary for resilient, just, and sustainable Southeast Asian societies.

CTP will generate knowledge and innovation across disciplines including climate and Earth science, ecology, materials science, artificial intelligence, humanities, social sciences and the arts, finance, health, and engineering. It will also translate state-of-the-art scientific results into real world solutions for Singapore, and it will transfer these solutions to Southeast Asia (SEA) and beyond.

As part of this programme, the climate finance Cluster will collect data that measures and price climate risk exposures in financial markets, conduct preliminary data analysis and skillfully manage the projects for documentation purposes; all content is summarised here.

The Research Associate will be based in the Centre for Sustainable Finance Innovation (CSFI) of Nanyang Business School and will be responsible for developing preliminary data analysis to measure and price risks arising from climate change suitable for each company so that climate risk can be managed by companies and hedged by investors.

The Research Associate's activities are designed to provide a nuanced understanding of how climate change is discussed and documented within the corporate world. By bridging technology and environmental science, the role aims to enhance the strategic responses to climate risks, tailor interventions, and ultimately contribute to the sustainability goals of the region. This position not only demands technical expertise in data science and computational linguistics but also a keen understanding of climate science and strong collaborative abilities to work effectively in a diverse and multi-disciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities:
