The jobholder must possess the requisite knowledge and experience in accounting, finance and audit. He/She will handle the financial management and reporting activities of the company. Responsibilities include financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, commercial pricing and management accounting. The jobholder is expected to support the finance director in the day-to-day running of the department and strengthening the processes and internal controls on sensitive information.
Responsibilities:
(1) Analyze data to identify data correlation and trends
(2) Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts, and reports.
(3) Work closely with management and sales on commercial pricing of products and services
(4) Evaluate internal controls and highlight areas of potential issues, review and recommend changes to strengthen controls
(5) Monitor budgets, spend, recoveries and forecast in terms of revenue, cost and key spending plan vs actual
(6) Ensure all month end journals are passed in the system and management reports prepared are free from errors and submitted timely to management.
(7) Execute timely and correct Quarterly GST reporting and Annual Corporate tax submission
(8) Ensure Annual Filing of accounts with ACRA are prepared timely and accurately.
(9) Manage Annual Audits with minimal exposures and ensure it is successfully closed and addressed.
(10) Conduct regular reviews on the accounting, finance, inventory-related and intercompany processes for improvements and ensure proper documentation for operational excellence
Requirements:
(a) University graduate in Accounting or Finance
(b) At least 5-8 years working experience in accounting/finance and/or audit
(c) Good written and verbal communication skills
(d) Analytical mind with keen eye for details
(e) Plan well with strong management skills
(f) Self-driven and energetic, able to meet tight deadlines
