• Coordinate and work closely with hotel senior management to develop financial forecasts and budgets, oversee the preparation of all financial reporting to the Board and ensure that all deadlines are adhered to
• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure fiscal accountability
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, provide guidance to Finance team
• Liaise with external authorities, and oversee tax strategies to ensure compliance with local and other applicable regulations
• Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analysee internal operations, and identify areas for cost reduction or improvements

Requirements:

• 10 or more years of experience in executive leadership roles
• Chartered Accountant , Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Strong Finance background in the Hotel & Resort industry preferred
• Possesses excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills

Job Description

You will lead the strategic planning, budget and forecast process and provide insights for decision support. The Successful Applicant

Ideally, you should be a Accounting degree qualified CPA/CA with the recent 5 years being in a leadership position managing the regional/global finance team. You are a self-starter with strong analytical skills coupled with good business acumen. An excellent interpersonal skills to work with people from different backgrounds from senior leadership team to manufacturing operations stakeholders will be key. You are comfortable to take on a regional role to work with different countries globally. Industry experience in manufacturing sector is a must.

• Strong Finance and Accounting Management, Financial Budgeting and project management skillset
• Knowledge of accounting software/tools (e.g. SAP Finance, Tableau) would have added advantageous.
• Must be proficient in Business English and Business Japanese in order to communicate clearly and fluently with the respective counterparts in the Global Headquarter and the Group Companies in the region. Ability to communicate in other language(s) would have added advantage.
