• Liaise with suppliers, buyers, bankers, and ship owners/brokers
• Control and monitor the utilization of credit facilities and track all transactions
• Liaise with bankers to open new credit facilities and review any new credit facilities
• Respond to any banker's queries on the company and its related companies
• File and archive transactions
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by management.

Job Requirement:

• At least a Diploma
• Proficiency in Chinese and English
• The ability to correspond with Chinese counterparties/banks
• Willingness and ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Maturity, independence, self-motivation, and a team player
• At least 2 years of trade operations working experience in the energy and/or commodities industry
• Preferably can start work immediately/on short notice

• Handles invoice entry and payment runs, including reconciliation and weekly patient refund deposits.
• Assists with month-end closing, GST input reporting, and updates the audit schedule.
• Manages finance-related phone calls, monitors and responds to the AP mailbox, and provides documents for vendor master data creation.

Job Descriptions

• Manage full set of accounts, supervise financial reporting and perform financial analysis processes.

• Perform Monthly / Quarterly / Yearly Reporting to HQ in Japan for Consolidated accounting.
• Manage the preparation of the company's budget.
• Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances.
• Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction.
• Create additional analyses and reports as requested by management.
• Analyse financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets.

Job Requirements

• Extensive Accounting & Financial Management experiences with minimum 5 years and above.
• Prior experience in group consolidation and financial reporting is preferred.

Working Hours: Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 6.00pm Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm

Responsibilities:

• Assist in segment consolidation and preparation of financial and management reporting of the Group.
• Preparation of segment reporting and forecast/budget.
• Preparation of centralized cost reporting.
• Assist the preparation of SGX results announcements of the Group.
• Support the preparation of Annual Report of the Group.
• Support the consolidation of forecasts and budgets.
• Participate in support on Group Financial Reporting System, including implementation of new Group Financial Reporting System.
• Liaise with group auditors on group audit
• Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department from time to time.

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Accounting or Business/Finance or equivalent
• Displays positive attitude, team player, meticulous and the ability to multi-task and work under tight timelines
• Able to work independently and possess good communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Knowledge of SAP S4 and BPC would be advantageous
