1.1 Take charge of new & existing Japanese Clients of Overseas Travel Accident Insurance (OTAI) and Overseas Travel Accident Plus (OTAP)

EDUCATION / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION

Certification in Baisc Insurance Concepts and Principle (BCP), Commercial General Insurance (CGI), Personal General Insurance (PGI), Health Insurance (HI) is required

Communicating and liaising with Japanese clients and Japan HQ is required as part of the job scope. Therefore, proficiency in Japanese is required.

Job Purpose

The Asia Head of Rates and Currencies Investor Sales is responsible for driving the sales of macro cross-asset products to institutional investor clients. Main activities consist of building and marketing of flow and non-flow macro products to Institutional Investors in the Asia Ex-Japan region, with a key focus on real money and hedge fund clients.

As a trusted partner, you will be responsible for providing an independent credit risk evaluation of SMBC credit assets in Asia Pacific region. Credit assets include (but not limited to) exposures to Corporates, Banks / Non-Banks Financial Institutions, Structured Real Estate finance, Project Finance, Securitization, and Leveraged Buyout (‘LBO’) as part of the third line of defence function. Data Framework Engineer

SCOPE OF THE ROLE

You will be responsible for the end-to-end software development and support for all work related to projects, quarterly change requests, L3 production fixes. This includes software product implementation and administration, application design, development, implementation, testing and support.

You will also be responsible for quality assurance of the team’s delivery in conformance with the Bank-defined software delivery methodology and tools. You will partner with other technology functions to help deliver required technology solutions.
