Job Purpose

Part of Customer Service team responsible for handling all types of Ownership & Nomination transactions including policy assignment, beneficiary nomination, vesting, and delivering them within service standards and ensuring compliance with the respective regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Assess and process applications for absolute and collateral assignment, beneficiary nomination and vesting within service, compliance and regulatory standards.
• Handle investigation of complex cases from policyholders and financial representatives on assignments and nomination of beneficiary.
• Work collaboratively with various departments, including Bancassurance, Claims, Legal, Group Risk Management on assignment, beneficiary nominations, FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliant Act) and CRS (Common Reporting Standard) matters. • Provide strong support in handling enquiries from touchpoints, including policyholders and financial representatives on section cases and processes.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements and defects.
• Review and provide continuous improvement to the section’s processes.
• Assist to document changes in workflows for the section.
• Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by Unit/Section Heads.
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
