Responsibilities:

• Work with Business Stakeholders, Project Managers and Technology teams to assist in the implementation and maintenance of data projects.

The Job

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Product Manager, Private Assets.

Principal Responsibilities

• Drive the development and maintenance of a strategy and associated roadmap for Private Assets fund administration and develop this cohesively with relevant stakeholders
• Assist in shaping broader segment strategy for various client segments and work on initiatives linked to the strategy
• Identify new and enhanced global product opportunities, providing input to market/product strategy initiatives
• Build and strengthen product management function for Private Assets, especially in Asia
• Assist in segment management initiatives, working with colleagues in Asia and Europe
• Prepare product pricing strategies and maintain product rate cards
• In conjunction with IT, align the Private Assets product architecture and design to the IT architectural blueprint
• Design and maintain global service definition documentation and relevant elements of sales collateral
• Establish and maintain relationships with key senior individuals in the media, together with relevant industry bodies, regulators, consultants, competitor organizations, software vendors and appropriate other third parties. Use input to contribute to product development and product management processes

• Maintain an awareness of market and competitor developments and position and differentiate the FA offering relative to the competition

Qualifications

• Very strong experience in the financial services industry working directly Private Assets funds (at least 8-10 years)
• Experience in Real Estate is desirable, but not a must
• Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of private asset classes (Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Equity, Private Credit)
• Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the private assets funds industry and in particular fund administration product
• Demonstrates a solid grasp of the technology and systems supporting the product with direct knowledge of core Private Assets platforms. Knowledge of Investran, Yardi, Geneva will be an advantage
• Strategic mind-set, with strong conceptual, creative and analytical content

Purpose of the Role:

You will be a part of the Asian Investment Banking Division (“AIBD”) that sits in the front line, responsible for the promotion of Corporate & Investment Banking (“CIB”) products and services in the Asia and Oceania region, covering both Global Corporates and Japanese Corporates. The Portfolio Management department is a key function in AIBD that takes over the management of structured loans originated in AIBD, including real estate, oil and gas, infrastructure, renewables, energy and utilities, to monitor and enhance the credit quality of the portfolio through direct engagement of external and internal stakeholders and through credit risk assessment and support.

Your role will entail managing a portfolio of structured finance assets across Asia originated in Project Finance (power, natural resources, and infrastructure) and Shipping Finance. A key objective of the role is to provide strategic insight to the portfolio as first line of defense.

Job Responsibilities:

You will play an important role in our team by taking on responsibilities that include (but are not limited to):

Client Management and Strategy

• Active management of the overall risk profile of assets throughout project life, including ongoing monitoring of client and project conditions, proactive risk identification, recommendation of risk mitigants, and Management reporting.
• Implementation of solutions through stakeholder negotiations with clients, bank syndicates, external specialist advisors and internal stakeholders including negotiation of waiver terms and amendment documents.
• Co-work with Origination team in the arrangement of refinancing transaction, such as deal execution, negotiation, documentation review.
• Support the execution of work-out transactions, including restructuring terms, negotiation, preparing financial models, negotiate documentation.

• Supporting the Head of Department in overall management of the portfolio and sector coverage.

Job Requirements

• Degree qualified
