Responsibilities

· Work closely with UAT Team Lead to ensure requirements and scope are clearly understood.

Job Responsibilities

The chosen candidate will be a key point of contact for all business queries on data usage of the application as well as ensure that the business design of the application conforms to the overall strategy of the organization – i.e. end to end automation & standardization.

The broad job accountabilities of the chosen candidate would be as follows:

1. Leverage on data analytics knowledge & experience to facilitate to uncover the data breaks.

2. Go through daily reconciliation report or schedule query via database to identify anomalies and discrepancies, find out root cause and implement corrective measures.

3. Oversee and responsible for ensuring data quality and fitness for purpose of data assets.

4. Able to articulate clearly the problem statement observed after investigation of the data breaks.

5. Monitor & engage in the ongoing and detailed evaluation & trending of data quality.

6. Ensuring data integrity, assess and improve data quality, oversee data from cradle to grave and remediate data quality issue.

7. Collate, manage, rationalise, associated with technology team to support in impact assessment, fix data quality issue, UAT and support implementation and live verification.

8. Actively partnering with the technology team in the solutioning process to ensure that the business solutions being implemented are thought through from a long term, standardization, design for no operations, front-end configuration perspective.

Requirements

1. Degree in Banking/Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.

2. Self-driven with strong analytical, highly numerate, proactive, problem solving, communication (verbal and written), good interpersonal and organizational skills

3. Driven/passionate, self-starter, highly competent and able to work independently

4. Ability to work in a team consisting of stakeholders from different areas including user community from requirements gathering and testing perspective, technology teams from a development, rollout perspective.

5. Eye for detail and diligence in documentation. Well versed in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word/ Office 365 applications

6. Prior experience of working in a banking industry would be preferred

7. With at least 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably with data management and analytics in the banking industry

8. MUST have basic SQL knowledge, and keen and good in data investigation, communication skill with stakeholder, and manage mini project.

Business Analyst (Banking/Central/6 Months Contract/Up to $7000)

Job Responsibilities:

• Collate and manage all the details regarding the application for the assigned business vertical
– information could span from details of systems interfacing, content of the various data being posted, data held within the application etc.
• Support user community on business queries and guidance on better usage of the system on daily BAU activities.
• Clear understanding the scope of the project, the changes associated and support the Project Manager in impact assessment. Clearly document the rationale for projects where no impact is assessed.
• For project where there is an impact, play a governance role in ensuring that the design (in terms of the level of information required from source to core processing is aligned with the strategic data flow strategy.
• Collate and rationalise all stakeholders’ requirements and walkthrough these requirements with team
• Actively partnering with the team in the solutioning process to ensure that the business solutions being implemented are thought through from a long term, standardization, design for no operations, front-end configuration perspective.
• Assess and propose appropriate testing approach and sign off criteria to stakeholders and get concurrence.
• Overall UAT management in terms of UAT timeline, batch run/ re-run and managing the tester’s testing result.
• Prepare proper documentation on the data flow, design, business solutioning and testing approach in accordance with predefined template.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis or project management within the financial services industry.
• Proficiency in collating and managing details related to application management for assigned business verticals, including systems interfacing, data content, and application functionality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support the user community on business queries and provide guidance on system usage for daily activities.
• Ability to understand project scopes and changes, and assist the Project Manager in impact assessment, including clear documentation of rationale for projects.
• Experience in governance roles to ensure alignment of project designs with strategic data flow strategies.
• Proven ability to collate and rationalize stakeholders' requirements and facilitate walkthroughs with project teams.
• Demonstrated collaboration skills in solutioning processes, ensuring business solutions are aligned with long-term strategies and operational standards.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and ability to propose appropriate testing approaches and sign-off criteria to stakeholders.
• Experience in overall UAT management, including timeline management, batch runs, and test result management.
• Strong documentation skills to prepare comprehensive documentation on data flow, design, solutioning, and testing approaches according to predefined templates
