• Preparation of monthly and year-end consolidation, SGX results announcement, group forecasts, budgets and year-end statutory accounts for the Group.
• Perform analytical review of 5 subsidiary companies’ monthly financials.
• Assist with internal reporting to the Board and to external stakeholders such as corporate banks and shareholders.

• Supervise various groups which are responsible for regulatory change management, enhancements of the 1st line risk control, improving our business foundation and governance structure through re-organization, business continuity management, executive management committee, regulatory communication in APAC region.
• Lead enhancements for governance framework in APAC region in line with global/local regulation as well as Head Office/Regional Senior management's expectation.
• Provide the appropriate direction to each branch and subsidiaries in APAC region how to respond to regulator and remediate issues pointed out by regulator.
• Enhance the level of regional/local regulatory adherance and corporate governance
• Strengthen the business foundation and governance strucure in APAC region including Singapore
• Enhance crisis management and response in APAC region including Singapore
• Enhance 1st line risk control in APAC region including Singapore

Requirements –

• Bachelor’s degree
• Strong group/team Management skills
• Experience in working in Head office or regional Head office in banking industry
• Experience in Corporate Governance, Compliance or Risk & Internal Control function in a bank is essential
• Experience in implementing, advising and executing regulatory framework and policies is highly desirable
• Strong Project Management skills

Our client is actively seeking an experienced Manager/Senior Manager to spearhead the establishment of a finance shared services center while proactively managing and monitoring the overall performance of the shared services center to ensure accuracy and timeliness of all deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead the establishment of a finance shared services center
• Oversee billings, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and GL accounting functions for multiple Asian countries within the shared services center.
