OUR CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR:

FINANCE EXECUTIVE (Full Set)

Working days: 5 days (Office Hours)

Salary (Commensurate with Experience): $2,800 to $3,800 + Bonus

ONLY Singaporeans and PR.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the full spectrum of Accounts.
• Validate the completeness and accuracy of transactions by ensuring that all transactions are authorized, comply with prevailing policies and supporting documents are in order.
• Monitor integrity of system processes by conducting sampling of transactions to ensure payments are in order.
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of transactions in accordance with documented processes.
• Ensure that transactional accounting postings to general ledgers are accurate for the purpose of charging to the correct accounts.
• Conduct training to a team of financial appointment holders on procedures for managing and controlling resources and expenditure so as to carry out procurement, payment and reimbursement activities on the finance systems.
• Assess and propose changes to the processes, procedures and systems to achieve high level of efficiency and effectiveness.
• Participate in system designs and conduct user acceptance test to ensure that system design meets the operational requirements.
• Work closely with IT & relevant parties to resolve payment related issues and ensure payment timeliness.
• Develop, coach and motivate members of the team to deliver effective, responsive and customer-centric service to customers

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidates with 2 years of experience with Accounts background or equivalent professional qualifications will have an advantage.
• Diploma holder with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Experience in the charity or nonprofit sector will be advantage.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journals for AR/GL functions

• Manage and analysis of the monthly revenue recognition

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness of

financial data

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations

• Perform premium refund payment

• Prepare commission payment & commission statement

• Liaise with external and internal parties for any payment-related enquiries

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy/Finance

• Min. 5 years of relevant experience

• Knowledge of SAP System will be an added advantage

• Strong knowledge of MS Office Applications

Planning

• Medium to long term business plan in line with Company strategy and goal

Organising

• Organisation of Branch/Associates/Finance Team’s infrastructures, manpower and resources
• Organise and execute all compliance requirements of the Group, including statutory requirements, corporate governance, listing rules, audit and taxation, internal audit process and standards, sustainability reporting
• Inter-company Buying and Pricing policy
• Reporting, presentation and meeting sessions on periodic basis with Senior Management and BOD

Leading

• Market visits, surveys, data collections
• Customers analysis and assessments
• Constantly looking into the improvements of Branches/Associates’ operations and systems
• Coordination between Head Office and Branches/Associates
• Sales, promotion and marketing supports
• Group tax matters and tax efficiency

Control

• Review financial and operations situations on a regular basis
• Monitoring sales, inventory, AR, credit limits, prices on a regular basis
• Progress and performance of Branches or Associates consistent to the overall objectives of the Company
• Review the competency and adequacy of Finance Team in the Group
• Review adequacy of banking and efficiency facilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• BCP/BCM exercise (Conduct BCM test (call tree exercise and ensure compliance of BCM framework to regulatory requirements)
• Outsourcing/Analyze impact on operational risk (New transactions, New products, New technologies, Any amendments/updates to existing processes)
• Review impact on operational risk
• Ensure compliance of bank’s policies
• Ascertain current/future risk areas
• Propose recommendations and report on operational risk findings
• Follow up progress of any previous Internal/external audit or MAS or Head office findings/action plans and issues have been resolved
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Any other adhoc duties

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Accountancy/Commerce/ACCA or any other relevant education
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Operational risk (BCP Management and outsourcing) in Banking and/or financial institutions
• Sharp, focus, analytical and has good interpersonal and communication skills
