Our client is a large MNC currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Controller to join their APAC team on a 9-month contract.

The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of expertise in financial management, US GAAP accounting, and regional financial operations within large multinational corporations. Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting and Compliance:
  • Prepare and review accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with US GAAP.
  • Ensure timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
  • Manage audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met.
• Internal Controls and Risk Management:

Key Requirements

• Professional Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with US GAAP accounting is mandatory.

We are seeking a Finance Regulatory Reporting Officer to join a leading international bank with a strong presence in Southeast Asia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely regulatory reporting, including submissions to relevant regulatory bodies. Job Description

• Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for the region, collaborating with parent's company SEA Regional Director and the Business Management department of HQ to develop and monitor budgets and forecasts.
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Use financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations to the members of parent company SEA and the Business.
• Management department of HQ, contributing to the growth and profitability of the business in the SEA region.

Job Requirement

• Proficiency in Japanese to liaise with Japanese speaking stakeholders
• Experience in retail industries such as fashion (apparel/footwear) and cosmetics is preferred.
