• Build and manage relationships with business partners, external auditors and consultants.

• Assist in the implementation of new ERP system with primary focus on the finance and accounting modules. Review and execute the Group Chart of Accounts ensuring that the Chart of Accounts is consistently implemented within the Group ERP system.

• Assist in financial modelling, investment analysis, project evaluation and due diligence to support investment decisions, as well as funding requirements.

• Ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualification and Experience

• Qualified ACCA / CA with at least 8 yrs experience in audit & tax, and 3 yrs experience in a leadership role

Knowledge and Skills

• Ability to research and interpret accounting and tax guidance and draft accounting memos to support conclusions

• Strong IFRS acumen and understanding of financial reporting

• Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to independently prioritize multiple tasks and bring projects to completion

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely regulatory reporting, including submissions to relevant regulatory bodies. This position requires someone with a strong understanding of banking regulations and experience in a similar role within the banking sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit regulatory reports in compliance with MAS (Monetary Authority of Singapore) and other regulatory requirements.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reports.
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure the organization complies with new regulations.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews.
• Collaborate with other teams in finance and risk management to ensure proper data accuracy and integrity for reporting purposes.
• Provide advice and guidance on regulatory reporting matters within the bank.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other financial analyses as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in bank regulatory reporting or similar roles within the banking sector.
• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore regulatory requirements and reporting standards (e.g., MAS regulations).
• Proficiency in financial reporting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
