Due diligence on borrowers

• Due diligence on prospective clients before taking up the proposals on board and at time of review which includes obtaining ACRA, D&B, status reports from banks, statements of accounts with existing banks and market reports. Checking the names with RBI defaulters list and litigations etc. against the company / directors /shareholders.
• Ensure necessary CDD / AML & CFT measures are in place in relation with promoter’s background and business, including any adverse media reports.

This is an 18-month program designed to equip you with foundational knowledge and professional skills in the Finance and Risk departments. Responsible for providing administrative and client service support to Relationship Managers (RM) within the front office function servicing Private Banking clients.

Responsbilities:

• Provide administrative and client service support to Relationship Managers servicing Private Banking clients.
• Respond to all client enquiries and instructions and provide resolution to most issues and requests.
• Monitor transactions and activities in client accounts
• Maintain client data and reports, such as: contact lists, account numbers, facilities details, status of credit reviews/renewals, etc
• Handle administrative duties including scheduling of appointments, preparing correspondences, making travel arrangements, arranging meetings and receptions, producing presentation materials.
• Coordinate with Product Groups, Operations and other functional areas as necessary
• Ensure adherence to internal and external regulations and policies at all times

Requirements:

• Preferably 2-5 years of relevant experience in client servicing, operations or sales support within financial institutions
• Bachelor degree or diploma from reputable institutions
• Strong understanding of financial products and services
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and client interfacing skills
• Meticulous, strong attention to details
• Possess future oriented mindset, strive to innovate and adapt to changes
• Strong understanding of inter-dependencies within the team and able to collaborate effectively across departments
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and remain empathetic, passionate and resilient
• Preferably CACS certified

To Qualify for the Role you must have

• Bachelor or Master Degree with a minimum of 3 years’ working experience, preferably with a year in a business consulting role in a leading consultancy firm. Candidates with more experience will be considered at a more senior level.
• Qualified or part qualified accountant or financial analyst
• Strong business acumen within the financial sector, with experience in the following discipline :
• Enterprise Performance Management with integrated, driver based Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting and Scenario management.
• Have hands-on experience in both design and implementation with the ability to articulate best practices and drive workshops.
• Proven capabilities in delivering business transformation projects and programs, Finance Transformation projects and / or Financial Operating Model would be an advantage.
• Ability to establish personal credibility quickly and deliver high quality deliverables.
• Demonstrated key subject matter expert with the ability to develop thought leadership and deliver solutions for clients.
• Candidates with Financial Services Audit background will be considered

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience of working within ASEAN
• Strong stakeholder management skills in understanding strategic direction and being able to convert into cohesive change management strategy and plans
• Ability to develop client opportunities and identify market growth opportunities
• Ability to support the business development cycle
