• WDA Employability Skills System Level 5 in Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN 5)

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities in accordance with project plans and specifications.

• Understand and ensure compliance with project requirements and scope of work.

• Attend the daily tool-box meeting and convey clear instruction accordingly

• Manage and ensure the materials and tools is sufficient

• Manage and lead on-site construction teams, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.

• Collaborate with project managers to schedule tasks, allocate resources, and monitor project progress.

• Enforce strict adherence to safety guidelines, promoting a culture of safety among the workforce.

• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve issues promptly.

• Communicate effectively with customer, addressing concerns and providing updates on project status.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Building
• Management/Civil Engineering

At least 1 year of relevant experience

We are looking for enthusiastic, committed and driven individual with accounting background to join us in our Finance Team.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Process and handle finance transactions and functions, including receivables, payables, receipts and payments (via trust receipt, cheque, Giro, letter of credit, petty cash etc), bank reconciliations and creditors reconciliations.
• Focus more on full processing of accounts payable function (consisting supplier/subcontractor) in compliance to accounting standards, GST regulations and Group internal control procedures
• Possess the hand-on experience on monthly closing of management accounts
• Update daily bank records
• Assist in problem solving and recommend improvement on the process flows, controls etc
• Deal with various internal parties such as project teams, purchasing team and other relevant internal parties
• Liaise with various external parties such as suppliers, subcontractors, bankers, auditors and other relevant third parties
• Prepare relevant finance reporting
• Assist in work related matters and ad hoc assignments

Job Specifications/Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or any equivalent professional accountancy qualifications
• Preferably 3 years of relevant working experience
• Experienced candidate would be considered for senior role
• Hands-on accounts and finance functions and processes with problem solving skillset
• Familiar with accounting standards, taxes, GST, best practices and other relevant rules and regulations
• Proficiency in MS Office knowledge
• Must possess positive attitude, “To Do” or “Can Do” mindset and willing to work as a team in helping each other
• Possess excellent working and communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills to engage with all levels in the Company
• Willingness to work flexible schedule during peak period and able to meet tight timeline

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure compliance to revenue policies and regulations
• Manage risk profile of collections
• Formulate governance policy for customer master.
• Perform data analytics of monthly, quarterly and annual trends
• Review internal control for process improvements
• Collaborate with line departments to develop new revenue streams and systems upgrade
• Maintain and work with IT for regular data management in cloud solution
• Ensure timely reporting inline with FRS and internal SOPs
• Partner line departments to perform sustainability reporting
• Other ad-hoc duties and projects assigned

• Diploma / Degree in Accountancy, Business, or a related discipline with at least 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Recent graduate with relevant competencies may be considered.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in any of the major accounting software (SAP, Oracle etc.).
• Ability to work independently, committed and self-motivated.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong leadership.
• Strong interest in data management, RPA and data analytics.
• Familiar with BI tools (eg. Qliksense, Power BI, Tableau, RPA) has an added advantage.
