The Assistant Manager, Finance has overall responsibility for strategic planning, implementation, managing all finance activities of IJHCC including budgeting, forecasting, risk and governance as well as reporting and compliance with the required charity regulations and guidelines.

You will be required to work closely with the Head, Corporate Services, Executive Director and the Treasurer to analyse, plan and propose strategic recommendations for the Management Committee to make appropriate business decisions for IJHCC

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and review works done by outsourced provider (provision of monthly book-keeping and financial reporting services) to ensure timely capturing of financial information essential for prompt and accurate financial reporting.
• Create and implement financial policies for IJHCC.
• Manage financial processes for forecasting and budgets, preparation and analysis of all financial reporting (mthly, quarterly and annual reports) to board members, management team and stakeholders.
• Monitor cash-flow of IJHCC by monitoring income, expenditure, and investments.
• Maintain receipts and records for all transactions, including donations
• Prepare financial evaluation on viability of outreach programs and charitable activities, and identify areas for potential improvement.
• Monitor transactions, identifying irregularities in invoices, monitor bank deposits and payments,etc.
• Maintain comprehensive Investment and Fixed Asset listings essential for management's analysis.
• Ensure the risk and compliance management framework is embedded and operational for IJHCC
• Monitor, strengthen and establish internal controls and process improvement for Finance policies and processes.
• Lialise with Caritas, auditors, banks and external parties on finance activities
• Adhere to financial regulations and legislation such as Commission of Charity, NCSS, Ministry of Social and Family Development. Oversee outsource vendor, ensuring accurate financial reporting
• Well-versed in GST and Tax submission

Assist in Financial Audits

• Perform regular financial analysis; resolving issues, analysis of trends and investment opportunities in view of attaining long term sustainability of financial resources.
• Handle the accountability of donations - in-cash/in-kind (collection, receipts issuance, IRAS submission.
• Work with all departments to ensure adherence to IJHCC financial controls and policies coupled with review and implement process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist the finance manager in the preparation and submission of monthly and quarterly management reports for the companies under the Private Mobility Group

Job Description:

As an M&E Coordinator, you will manage site coordination across various trades to ensure high standards and compliance with contract specifications. This role requires you to lead in M&E scheduling, inspection, and quality control, coordinating with sub-contractors and suppliers to support project progress and meet quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead site coordination with all trades involved in the project
• Prepare and submit shop drawings, materials, and method statements (MOS)
• Ensure work aligns with contract requirements and technical drawings
• Plan and micro-schedule M&E work alongside other disciplines
• Liaise with sub-contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
• Implement quality control plans and monitor architectural materials
• Conduct inspections, trade demos, material testing, and mock-ups
• Verify Variation Orders (VO) and prepare back charges
• Attend sub-con meetings and update M&E project progress using scheduling tools
• Oversee compliance with Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) checklist
• Ensure all work is performed in a safe working environment
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as directed by the Supervisor or Management

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline
• Relevant certification in Mechanical & Electrical field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant local experience
• Ability to lead sub-contractors and ensure high-quality work with minimal defects
• Preferred experience in Quality Mark (QM) projects
• Knowledgeable in M&E specifications and BCA quality standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledgeable in BIM

Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to $4,800 basic + variable bonus

• Working Days: 6-day work week (Monday to Saturday, with one Saturday off per month)

Job Description

1. Assess site progress and work together with project manager on the plan (inclusive but not limited to method of construction, schedule, storage, and manpower).

2. Liaise with client and subcontractors on construction, safety, site QA/QC and logistic matters.

3. Complete the tasks within schedule, budget and accepted quality and in safe manner.

4. Monitor and control work progress of subcontractors and report to direct superior on any underperformer.

5. Verify all claims submitted by sub-contractors prior to the submission to QS.

6. Advise QS about the site progress for timely claim submission to main contractors.

7. Prepare and submit Permit to Work prior to any construction.

8. Conduct daily toolbox and progress meeting with subcontractors and assigned manpower.

Job Requirements

1) Candidate shall possess a minimum ITE or equivalent

2) Minimum 3 years’ experience in project supervision role preferably in housing construction
