WWF is looking for an experienced and passionate individual to serve as the Global Lead for WWF’s Carbon Finance and Markets Taskforce. The Taskforce is co-led by WWF’s Forest Practice and Climate and Energy Practice to influence and promote best practices for carbon finance and markets around the world, and leverage credibly implemented carbon finance to protect and enhance WWF priority landscapes, seascapes and watersheds. The role will be based in Asia and will have an additional responsibility to help build capacity in the host office and across the wider Asia region.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership for WWF’s work on carbon finance and markets, and delivery of its goals and outcomes and promote strategic alignment with WWF Office and Practice Strategic Plans; this includes but is not limited to:

• serving the network to advance thinking on carbon finance and markets topics and develop specific services/products for the network.

Job Description:
• Ensure Production meet delivery requirements in a safe manner
• Supervising workers, production schedule & in-process QC checks
• Provide guidance to new workers, organize training when required.

Accounts

• Maintain full set of accounts
• Perform daily bookkeeping activities such as sales, purchases, receivables, payables

• Prepare and submit quarterly GST filing and other tax compliances
• Prepare month-end, financial year-end closing, monthly balance sheet, P&L, bank reconciliations
