Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/ Degree in Accountancy

• Minimum 2 year of relevant accounting experience in a similar role

• Experience with SUN Accounting system is an added advantage

• Experience in Hotel Industry is an added advantage

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required

• Willingness to learn, and take on additional tasks when being assigned

• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills

• Organised, meticulous, deadline oriented with good time management skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver accurate management reports, including monthly forecasts and semi-annual budgets, with variance and trend analysis for the region.
• Assist in developing budgets and forecasts, ensuring they reflect strategic goals and business priorities.
• Analyze financial performance and key metrics to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Work with various departments to collect and verify financial data, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide analysis and insights that connect financial reports to business strategies.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as needed to support management decisions.
• Handle other tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Good in numbers and data.
• Proficient in MS Office including Power BI, Vlookup, Pivot Table and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and a team player.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

The incumbent will primarily manage three entities, overseeing key finance and accounting responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets, and Inventory functions.

Prepare and record journal entries for month-end financial close.

Conduct variance and trend analysis at the entity level.

Handle month-end and year-end closings, along with quarterly financial reporting.

Collaborate with various departments to address and resolve operational issues.

Prepare and maintain balance sheet schedules.

Complete quarterly GST submissions and respond to external inquiries.

Assist with the annual budgeting process.

Manage audit and tax responsibilities for each entity.

Support any other tasks or projects as assigned by the GL Accountant.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Finance or Accounting.

1-3 years of experience in a similar role with full set accounting skills, including variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, corporate tax, and the ability to provide detailed insights and collaborate with Business Units (BUs).
