A TYPICAL DAY

The first task of the day is to look through the collections from the previous day and update the respective system while sending out receipts to parents. My other daily activities include loading up the Data Portal for daily billing and issuing invoices to parents. At certain times of the month, ad hoc billings such as rental of facilities will take place which involve me liaising with the relevant department before issuing the invoices. At the same time I will also be managing finance email queries/phone queries from parents - this is an essential task that needs to be carried out as and when necessary throughout the day. • Work with the Singapore partners to support and interact with the team's clients which include financial institutions, funds and multi-national corporates throughout the region
• Qualified in Singapore (England & Wales or Australian qalifications will also be considered)
• Minimum 10+ years' experience in Singapore (or 8pqe in England and Wales (or equivalent))
• Strong experience in LNG, banking and finance, with experience of structured lending being especially useful
• Willingness to learn new products and be a team player
• Fluent English (spoken and written) required
• Attention to detail, organised, efficient and able to work under pressure

Responsibilities

• Supports financial transactions, managing both incoming and outgoing funds in various bank accounts, including payments, loans, deposits, foreign exchange, and receivables financing.
• Handle daily cash management, record and process transactions, perform monthly bank reconciliations, and reconcile accounts receivable and payables.
• Involved in trade-related activities such as Letters of Credit, bonds, and performance applications.
• Oversees the creation of vendor bank accounts in the SAP system

Requirements

• Bachelor or Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
• At least 1 - 2 years of finance/ banking experience
• Prior working experience in trading industry will be an added advantage
• Ability to start work within short notice will be ideal

Resposibilities

Site Management

- Monitor, coordinate and keep track of the site work progress to ensure all work is carried out in quality and efficiency manner

- Assign job task to workers and conduct daily briefing

- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

- Regular site visits and inspections survey.

Communication

- Serve as a liaison between site staff and the management

- Communicate effectively with team members to convey goals, expectations, and updates.

- Identifying and resolving workplace problems.

Logistics and Resources

- Manage inventory and supplies for the site.

- Coordinate the allocation and efficient use of resources.

- Monitor equipment and facilities to ensure proper functioning.
