Job Overview:

The Enterprise Training Advisor is responsible for educating and promoting our training courses, driving end-to-end sales cycle for B2B & B2C. Key Responsibilities:

Job Purpose

As part of the Financial Risk Management team within Group Risk Management, you will be part of the team responsible for developing and implementing models used for managing various financial risks of the Group. This role will provide you with on the job exposure to financial risk management within Great Eastern, which is the largest insurer in the Singapore market.

The Job

• Develop and implement Stochastic Asset and Liability Management (“ALM”) models for various risk related analysis such as solvency management and strategic asset allocations;
• Calibrate real world as well as risk neutral models (interest rates, credits, equities etc.) and generate stochastic economic scenarios for risk and valuation purposes;
• Build and streamline limits monitoring tools including the automation of derivatives and limits reports.
• Assist in the implementation of risk analytics platform such as MSCI and other enterprise business intelligence tools for risk management purposes;
• Ad hoc financial risk management assignments.

Our Requirements

• At least 7 years of relevant experience in quantitative model development, risk analytics, financial risk management or other similar fields in a financial institution;

• Familiar with the main risk drivers and valuation of various financial instruments including derivatives using Monte Carlo and other numerical methods;

What you will be working on

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Budgets and Grants Management

• Handle and manage IMDA’s budgets including Operating budget, Capital budget and Government funded Programme budgets ensuring optimal use and allocation of funds to achieve strategic outcomes.  

• Managing multiple source of funds, liaise with funders (e.g. MCI, MOF) to ensure proper accountability, including but not limited to transacting funds drawdown, tracking of utilization, reconciliation and closure.
