• Respond to general administrative enquiries and clerical support.

• Assist with all visitor/customer visitations and directing them to the correct channels.

The Service Advisor is responsible for communicating with customers about their vehicle repair needs and relaying information to the Service Technicians. Their duties include greeting customers and helping them determine repairs and relevant costs, maintaining up-to-date knowledge about their employer’s range of services and contacting customers to update them about their vehicle’s repair status. The staff will have to prepare the following as well:

About the role

We are recruiting for a Principal Advisor - Origination & Projects to be the subject matter expertise on the development of trading strategies and support the execution of key value-capturing opportunities relating to how we trade (physical & derivative), structure (structuring, origination) and sell (product development and pricing) our products in alignment with our commercial strategy and risk management frameworks.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Portside & Origination Book you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:

Origination:

The core of this role is physical trading, business development, and contracting. Focused on third-party products that (i) help manage instability in the quality/volume profile of the Iron ore value chain and (ii) generate physical trading opportunities.

• Drive and deliver high-grade iron ore origination, including creating short-term sourcing strategy, building and maintaining suppliers’ relationships, and developing, negotiating, and managing end-to-end iron ore contracts.
• Identify new opportunities to address strategic goals of the Business Unit including identifying new suppliers or projects, potential offtake opportunities, contractual and financing opportunities in existing or new contracts, with the appropriate risk-return assessment.
• Manage the high-grade book allocation planning, inventory, and risk exposure.
• Maintain knowledge, intel, and expertise in the high-grade iron ore market and leverage product knowledge to build synergies with our overall IO book.
• Work with Market Analysis and Competitor analysis to help maintain above-high-grade market intel.
• Supply and demand models, cost/availability, and quality profile of 3rd party products.

Portside Integration:

• Complementing the work of Senior Manager Portside & Origination Book to support the alignment of marketing strategies between Portside and IO Book, product strategy, and product placement.

Project Management and Business Improvement:

• Capable of leading complex projects across multiple teams to deliver commercial changes in business processes that foster continuous improvement.

About you

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

• A recognized University degree
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in the commercial in commodities sector, across sales & marketing, supply chain and trading, and business improvements.
• Prior experience in the iron ore market or other commodities is preferred.
• Confident in challenging the status quo and experience in driving trade-off analysis, efficiencies, and effectiveness through business improvement.
