What You Will Do
As an Accounts Receivable Analyst, you will be responsible for the following:

• Generate and distribute accurate invoices on a timely basis
• Manage debt collection from clients
• Reconcile accounts and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes
• Process eGIRO / eDDA / other direct debit collections within the stipulated timeline and follow-up action on unsuccessful deduction
• Ensure that invoices and incoming receipts are accounted for in the system
• Follow up on unidentified receipts and ensure that receipts are updated promptly
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client accounts and payments
• Prepare statements of accounts for clients
• Monitor and report on accounts receivable aging and performance
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders to address any customer inquiries or concerns
• Verify the accuracy of financial or transactional data (Data entry, administration duties and other ad-hoc duties when required)

What’s the role?

Our Data Analysts are the front line of customer service for Data supporting both internal and external clients. In this role your core responsibility will be supporting Bloomberg clients through our Help Desk, which will allow you to develop general financial markets understanding and knowledge of the inner workings of Bloomberg's customer service technology. You will also use your project management skills and problem solving abilities to assist in the implementation of strategic solutions to improve client experience and team workflows and procedures. The position is responsible for supporting the Business Underwriting and Portfolio team in Corporate Solutions division. Responsibilities:

Pricing and Product Development

• Determine pricing for employee benefits insurance products in accordance with the company’s underwriting standards, with the objective to minimize excess risks and maximize profits and retention. This includes regular review and monitoring to ensure portfolio profitability remains in line with best estimate assumptions.
• Developing new products and enhancements to existing products in line with company’s product standards. This includes refreshing pricing assumptions, pricing tools and conducting regular experience analysis.

Management Reporting

• Ensure timely and accurate submission of management reports. This includes internal reports for decision making by local and group management, and regulatory and industry reports submitted to MAS / LIA.
• Perform analysis on financial indicators and performance metrics and provide inputs for business and strategy planning

Tableau Dashboards

• Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards that provide quality management information to support business monitoring, decision-making and business strategy

Reinsurance Management and Administration

• Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports for reinsurance and pool administration, including preparing regulatory and industry reports to internal and external stakeholders
• Assist in the review, negotiation, and analysis of reinsurance treaties
• Support the review of treaty documentation and ensure adherence to Group guideline

Requirements:

• Education – Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Studies / Business or Data Analytics / Mathematics & Statistics
• Experience – 2 to 7 years of working experience in Actuarial / Group Insurance (Employee Benefits) / Data analytics / Management reporting / Other business support functions involved in working with large and complex datasets
