MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

We are seeking an experienced and analytical financial controller to join our Regional Finance team and to manage all aspects of JV financial reporting and projects. The financial controller will be instrumental in providing all analysis and reports for top management, offering insights and recommendations to support key decision-making processes.

The main roles of the JV Financial controller are:

• Manage all JV level reporting (monthly performance, board meeting, boutique reporting, grey market analysis, P&L by channel, quarterly Beaute Research report and other ad-hoc analysis) and maintain the highest quality, reliability, and accuracy of data presented.
• Prepare budget of support functions costs (BPC) and maintain cost control responsibility providing relevant reports and rationale.
• Help to prepare simulations for new brands integration.
• Lead, develop and implement efficient financial processes internal to LBeauty in a continuous improvement mindset and together with internal control team.
• Coordinate, spearhead and roll out LVMH projects for the JV (digitalization of our reporting tool with BISO and BISI project, redesign forecast processes with SCALE project, new Capex reporting, …)

He/she will closely work with the Finance director, Reporting/Consolidation controller and brands’ regional business controllers to understand, analyze and improve the processes, the methodologies and ensure consistency and standardization in our reporting.

About the role

Position Purpose:

Reporting to the Group Head of FP&A, the Senior Finance Analyst will partner with the Business Unit Managers and support groups to provide the necessary guidelines, strategies, plans, processes and controls in the region and divisional brand P&Ls.

Responsibilities:

A. Budgeting/Forecasting & Variance Analysis

• Analyze revenue, profitability by brand/customer/channel/market with quality commentary

Role Overview

A real-time analyst/editorial role reporting to the Head of Credit, Asia, producing insightful content to tight deadlines that showcases IGM’s new issue data. IGM’s credit market coverage focuses on the primary syndicated bond market, tracking new issues individually and in aggregate, while seeking to present value added intelligence which builds upon what is available via other channels. Market analysis of this level requires development and maintenance of a mutually beneficial contact base with industry practitioners at all levels.  The role also requires a deep understanding of financial markets with an emphasis on fixed income credit, and an appetite to seek ways to add colour and context for subscribers and data users alike.

• Review/investigate Trade manual screening alerts and red flag escalated by trade processing team for potential sanction violations in accordance with SMBC policies.
• Ensure that review and investigation conclusions are adequately and properly documented for regulatory/audit level review.
• Coordinate and/or prepare the required management information reporting data as applicable
• Perform daily name screening alert clearance
• Investigate and report discrepancies and irregularities arising from transactions, system failure, etc and resolve issues including handling stakeholder’s complaints and escalating all issues to Group Head / Deputy Group Head promptly.
• Other tasks as assigned by Group Head / Team Lead
• Regular update of Procedures and Manuals to ensure the group operations is in accordance to SMBC policies, audit comments and in compliance to local as well as related overseas law and regulations
• Contribute in key initiatives and other ad hoc projects as needed

• Possesses knowledge of MAS regulation on AML and Sanctions requirements including KYC, Screening

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Analysis:
• Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and requirements.
• Develop and document business requirements, functional specifications, and business processes.
• Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to enhance business performance.
• Anaplan Implementation and Management:
• Design, build, and maintain Anaplan models and modules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into Anaplan solutions.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Anaplan applications.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Liaise with stakeholders, including business leaders and IT teams, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users to maximize the use of Anaplan solutions.
• Data Management and Analysis:
• Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and support decision-making.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy within Anaplan models.
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation for Anaplan models and business processes.
• Create and distribute regular reports and dashboards to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Language Skills:
• Fluency in both Mandarin and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
