About The Role

Blunomy is currently seeking a Finance and Operations Controller for its four offices located in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.

The ideal candidate must be highly organized and self-sufficient and will be responsible for providing accurate financial data to the heads of offices. This information will be used to make informed management decisions and to liaise with the Group CFO.

Your specific day-to-day responsibilities will be determined based on your individual strengths and experience. However, key areas of responsibility will focus on:

Financial reporting & forecasting:

• Define, track and report on key operational and financial indicators to inform business decisions
• Prepare monthly activity reports at the offices and APAC-level
• Prepare quarterly budget reports for group reporting
• Track activity and financial performance
• Perform short and long-term budget planning.

Operational reporting and planning:

• Liaise with operational teams to ensure accuracy in operational reporting and consistency in reporting standards
• Supervise the interfacing between the operational system and the accounting system
• Work closely with the Head of Offices to develop and execute strategic financial and operational plans.

Additional areas of contribution include:

Accounting

• Participate in the monthly accounting closing process of each country in accordance with local and Group accounting principles, working closely with local accountants
• Participate in the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with Group accounting principles
• Participate in internal control processes in line with Group requirements and propose adjustments when necessary
• Ensure relationship with the external audit companies when required.

Cash Management:

• Control credit management and receivables. Manage litigations
• Be responsible for the cash management activity and cash forecasts.

About You

We are looking for someone like that to:

• conduct enhanced due diligence on high risk client on-boarding requests, including identification and assessment of any financial crime risks, reputational risks and the plausibility and corroboration of source of wealth
• liaise confidently with the front office staff, KYC teams and colleagues in business lines to coordinate the assessment and provide a final decision
• conducting enhanced due diligence on newly higher risk clients at least quarterly, including review of the account activities and assessment of any financial crime risks and reputational risks that are emerged in the existing relationships
• communicate decisions to Business Heads on whether the relationships can be retained or terminated amid change of risk level in structural and detailed manner
• provide subject matter expert advices to Business on financial crimes topics arisen at on-boarding stage and during client life-cycle
• review the way financial crime policies and procedures are executed at various stages in the client life-cycle to ensure adherence to applicable KYC and Financial Crime due diligence standards
• report any findings and following them through to resolution
• working both within the financial crime team and the business to deliver on strategic projects and commitments

Your expertise

You have:

• at least 9 years of relevant experience
• a good understanding of the compliance issues and private banking industry
• good general knowledge of relevant AML regulations in key jurisdictions in Asia including Hong Kong and Singapore. Other Compliance knowledge and experience a plus
• a collaborative approach to achieving goals, ready to take initiatives, actively share information, and be willing to undertake a variety of roles within Financial Crime team as required
• an ability to build and sustain strong relationships with business staff and management and with colleagues in the team, locally, regionally and globally

The Information Management and Document Control Coordinator will support the Information Management Lead and Document Control Lead in managing project information and documentation. Responsibilities

• Assist the Information Management Lead and Document Control Lead in managing project information and documentation in accordance with agreed procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry, with a focus on Information Management or Document Control roles

This role will fulfil a vital liaison function between business units and the marketing function with our internal agency delivery teams. The role will work with the APAC business units to determine marketing and brand strategy in region, ensure best practice digital and traditional marketing execution and delivery, develop KPIs in terms of impactful ROI to both the local business unit and its contribution to the global division. The candidate will also be responsible for providing events support to the APAC business units. They will create and manage promotional plans and work with the events team to create timelines for company hosted and third-party events, both in-person and virtual. General Duties:

• Work with the business units or regional teams to develop a prioritization framework that is driven by KPIs and objectives and informed by previous ROI information and activity
