Preferred Experience:

Technical Proficiency: Strong background in Linux and Unix-based operating systems, with a good

understanding of carrier-grade networking concepts.

Security Expertise: Knowledge of firewalls and WAF/IDS/IPS solutions (Fortinet, Palo Alto, pfsense,

Sophos, Suricata, Snort, Cloudflare),and proxy servers (NGINX, HAProxy, F5).

Monitoring: Familiarity with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana, Cacti, syslog-ng).

Scripting: Ability to write scripts in languages such as Bash, Python, and PHP.

INTRODUCTION

Alstom as historical main contractor of the five first stages of the Circle line, was awarded for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of the Signaling System (Communications-Based Train Control) for the Circle Line 6 (CCL6) extension. This extension will add three stations between HarbourFront and Marina Bay MRT stations, closing the loop for CCL. The stations are: Keppel, Cantonment and Prince Edward Road. This is a very challenging project which requires Alstom to execute complex and new work and strong coordination with various stakeholders (E&M, Civil, Trackwork, System Integrator, Public Transport Authorities and Operator).

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

• Participate in the development of the T&C procedures and adequate method statements based on defined specifications from the system and sub system design to meet the contractual requirements.
• Prepare, manage and lead the on-site execution of the T&C activities until final handover to the authority.
• Coordinate and lead the execution of the Integrated T&C activities (external interfaces tests) with the participating E&M contractors.

• Execute the on-site testing based on the approved subsystem procedures and Method Statements.

a) To report to the Manager or team leader as shown in the organization chart. He/she is responsible for the assigned or related project tasks and responsibilities.

b) The detailed duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

i) Study and fully understand the ISO requirements, technical drawings, scope, contractual requirements and sub-contract agreements. Work with the consultants to resolve technical issues prior to construction.

ii) Submit to superior for feedback and concurrence on short or medium-term programmes and execute the works according to the detailed programme.

iii) Ensure that the works are carried out according to the approved drawings, quality procedures and EHS requirements. Managing the works with excellent housekeeping is a key focus.

iv) For quality management, the engineer is responsible to fully implement with the quality recordings, carry out result analysis and formulate action plans for continuous improvement.

v) Implement and maintain proper recordings to comply with EHS, quality, client and authorities’ requirements.

vi) Responsible for cost management so that the materials used for both temporary works and permanent works are not damaged or control the wastage within specified tolerance. Rework or abortive work which has serious time and cost impacts shall be avoided.

vii) Ad-hoc matters as assigned by the PM which is necessary for the execution of the project.

Job Description:

Responsible for substrate technology roadmap development and substrate technology integration with a focus towards Package Technology Development, Advanced Package Technology, and Package NPI execution. The engineering position works closely with Substrate Suppliers, Assembly Technology Development, and Assembly NPI teams to develop Micron's specifications ensuring a successful launch of new substrate technology. The Substrate Team resides in the Global Design Simulation and Substrate (GDSS) group of the Package Development Engineering organization that is responsible for the design, development, and assembly of Micron's product portfolio; MCP, UFS, SSD BGA, NAND, DRAM, GDDR, LPDDR, and ASIC products. This position will be based in Singapore with primary support to NPI's launched in Singapore, Malaysia, and India.

Candidate must have extensive experience in substrate development and substrate fabrication processes with a working knowledge of packaging assembly and technology, and finally proven customer support skillset. This position requires global support resulting in work hours that support Asia time zone and reports to leadership in the US.

Qualifications:

• The applicant should have a Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Material Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field with 15+ years of relevant experience.
