RESPONSIBILITIES

The Programme Officer (Outreach and Engagement) works with their assigned centres to execute programmes to facilitate the interactions and engagement between the community and the clients/caregivers. RESPONSIBILITIES

SE Project Management

1. Monitor to ensure a smooth, effective and systematic day to day running of the SE project in the EDCs, and that the project is operating in accordance with standard procedures, processes and regulations across the EDCs.

JOB SUMMARY

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Register hotel guest into the system with emphasis on fulfilling guest request, following necessary handling instructions and to establish credit policies and procedures

· Select and block rooms for arriving guest in taking into consideration special request, pre register VIPS, individuals or groups

· Work closely with Housekeeping to ensure that special requests are met and follow up accordingly

· Ensure that all guest information is correctly updated into Property Management System and maintained in an organized manner

· Utilize the Property Management System to generate Shift and Daily report

· Check guest out of the Hotel in accordance to the procedures; make billing changes, post charges accordingly

· Ensure all guests complains are heard and reported to Guest Services Supervisor.

· Work with Supervisors regarding hotel business to keep them in an informed position

· Understand Marriott Brand Standards Audit (BSA) and to ensure consistency in executing the task as per SOPs

· Must be ready for new tasks given by Supervisors or Managers

· Must know minimum the basics of Marriott Rewards

· Must be confident to upsell rooms

· Must be customer oriented

Job Responsibilities:

· Process customer’s orders/enquiries timely and accurately

JOB SUMMARY

Assist in carrying out daily activities at the Bell Service Desk. Responsible to all guest queries and maintain a high standard of general appearance and the cleanliness of the counter at all times. Being aware of current updated information and on-going events so as to maximise guest satisfaction

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform Concierge service and Bell service
• Maintain a professional appearance, pleasant personality and good posture.
• Provide information on Singapore, places of interest, tours, dining, entertainment outlets and hotel information.
• Handles luggage for both arriving and departing guests. This includes proper handle, tagging and delivering of luggage.
• Rotation shift to perform duties at the Driveway and work closely with Bell team and Bell Services Supervisor/Manager to ensure guest arrival and departure experience is seamless.
• Is trained to handle luggage and equipment including Bell-Cart /Birdcage trolley.
• Is required to understand and operate property management system OPERA.
• Delivers incoming items to the guestrooms at the request of Bell Services Supervisor/Manager
• Maintains the luggage room and luggage trolleys in accordance to Marriott Brand Standards. This involves properly stacking of baggage in luggage room, maintenance of trolleys and maintaining a hazard-free environment.
• Handles baggage-related requests such as long-term/short-term storage, this includes proper issuance of luggage tags, up keeping proper records and storing luggage in the correct location.
• Handle guest enquiries pertaining to tourist information when at the Hotel Lobby, Driveway and Bell Desk.
• Handle limousine bookings and monthly transportation report
• Maintain effective communication skills with guest and colleagues.
• Ensure work area, lobby and coach bay are clean and in order at all times.
• Record all daily activities in the daily log sheet for follow-ups or for communication purposes.
• Sorts and delivers the requested daily newspapers to all requested rooms.
• Processes guest’s request. In the event, if the request is not directly related to his/her area of capacity, the request is forwarded to the concerning department.
• Maintains close liaison with all other departments to ensure departments operational flow, thus ensuring seamless guest experiences.
• Handle “hold for collection” duty according to the Standards
• Handle mail/post enquiries.
• Inventory tracking related to Bell services. Eg, wheelchair, umbrella, luggage tags and etc.

Client/Trainee Management & Development

• Contribute and implement motivational and behavior management plans for clients', in collaboration with Allied Health team and other support workers.
• Engage in continuous assessment, training and evaluation of trainees' holistic development
• Plan and Implement appropriate group activities
• Contribute, implement and monitor trainees' security and safety procedures

Support Allied Health Professionals

• Monitor and implement programmes designed by Allied Health Professionals in the area of health fitness & wellness programme, motivational & behaviour management plans as well as sensory awareness
• Communicate critical information to Social Worker and Centre Manager

Administrative & Operations

• Support unit operational and logistics management
• Ensure centre/trainees safety and security
• Update of clients'/trainee's daily attendance and participation in activities, events and programmes in various client management system platforms
• Engage in caregiver dialogue sessions, home visits and maintain good rapport and communication with parents / caregivers
• Attend staff meeting and training as required

Event Management

Staff will be assigned to oversee at least one of the following duties and will provide assistance to the other staff when required:

Camp, Festive Celebrations, Sports Events, First Aid & Medicare, Evacuation & Emergency Planning Team, Transport Duties, Staff Welfare and others

• Organise internal/external events and activities for trainees

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Programme Officer (Outreach and Engagement) works with their assigned centres to execute programmes to facilitate the interactions and engagement between the community and the clients/caregivers. He/she works with the community partners and volunteers for these outreach and engagement programmes and guides the centre and volunteers in executing the programme activities. He/she also collaborates and establishes relationships with volunteers, grassroots organisations, and community partners to fulfil MINDS' vision of outreach and serving the unserved and underserved segment of the ID population in Singapore through the centre's operations. He / she will work in close collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, consisting of Allied Health Professionals such as the Psychologist, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, physiotherapist, and / or Speech Language Therapist, and Training Officers when designing the programmes. These programmes can be at the centre or outside of the centres

The Programme Officer should have great communication, time management & problem-solving skills. They should be able to work well both independently & in a team with integrity, sensitivity, knowledge and drive to support & advocate for their clients with intellectual disability.

Networking and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders within the community

• Develop and establish professional or social networks with the local community to leverage on community resources and volunteers to meet the various needs of the clients in the centre.
• Maintain and manage relationships with the community stakeholders for sustained efforts in volunteerism, and opportunities for clients in community participation, integration and inclusion
• Coordinate recruitment, deployment, training, and appreciation of community stakeholders
• Connect, consult, and collaborate with relevant community partners, and be a catalyst for action in raising disability awareness and inclusion in the relevant boundary where the centre operates

Programme / Curriculum planning, implementation & evaluation

• Implement the programme / activities in collaboration with the Training Officers and / or Multi-Disciplinary Team members in the centre
• Identify gaps and areas of improvement for programmes / activities

Run daily operations and activities at the Centre's Community Inclusive Space/Drop-in Centre

• Execute schedules and programmes for the clients, caregivers in the community inclusive space.
• Orientation, recognition and retention of volunteers and community partners
• Ensure the safety and well-being of community partners, volunteers and clients during programme activities, including risk assessment and management
• Execute the work processes to ensure smooth running of the Community Inclusive Space, which includes but not limited to the retail, workshop and drop-in centre portions of the space.
• Facilitate the provision of services to the community/general public with the help of the clients
• Facilitate the running of community workshops between clients, caregivers and the community

• Minimum Diploma in Social Work, Psychology, or Community Services or related fields with at least 2 years working experience.

• Experienced Training Officers or Teaching Aides with an interest in Programme / Curriculum planning are welcome to apply
• A strong team-player with excellent people skills.
• Possesses strong organisation skills
• Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills
• A self-motivated, independent and adaptable individual.
• Willing to work with people with intellectual disabilities.

Job Descriptions

• Executes all duties related to the Hotel’s front office operations, such as registration of guests during check-in, checking/verifying guests' particulars, updating of room status, departure calls/checks etc.
• Cashiering duties (compute and collect applicable rates from guests) including trial balance and shift closing
• Answering inquiries by guests (email/phone/at the counter) and render reasonable assistance/services within the expectations of keeping with excellent hospitality standards
• May be tasked to execute room checks, reservations and public area checks etc. as part of the Hotel’s effort to offer staffs more holistic training, towards possible promotion
• Execute all reasonable work processes as instructed by the Company / its Managers from time to time towards the smooth management / operations of the Hotel
