About Company:
Our client was established in 1997. A wholly owned subsidiary of a major chemical company in Japan. They produce Super-Pure Hydrogen Peroxide and Ammonium Hydroxide for the semiconductor industry.

Job Description:
- Perform daily accounting & finance duties including AR and AP processes, general ledger, tax and bank reconciliation (by Job Rotation)
- Manage CAPEX and Fixed Assets processes
- Manage timely closing process and reconciliations, including for intercompany transactions
- Handle monthly journals, audit schedules and lease matters
- Prepare reports as assigned on a timely basis
- Prepare quarterly GST Reporting (On Rotation basis)
- Ensure compliance with relevant statutory, regulations as well as corporate policies
- Coordinate and liaise with internal and external customers like financial institute, external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax, government authorities, vendors and related parties where required.
- Assist in the annual audit process, tax filing (corporate, withholding) matters and any ad-hoc assignments as and when required.
- Support system implementation and process improvements as necessary
- Analyze accounts and perform reconciliation.
- Support forecasting and budgeting exercise and processes as per corporate guidelines.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the company

Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Accountancy or above
- Those having CAT, partial ACCA or LCCI with relevant experience are welcome to apply
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in accounting field
- Experience in using Navision or Dynamic 365 BC is an advantage
- Meticulous, responsible and time management

Job Mandate

· Assist the Head of Risk for the implementation of the risk management framework in the Branch and ensures alignment of the relevant risk management policies and guidelines with Head Office (HO).

· Assist the Head of Risk in the identification, measurement, quantification, control, and reporting of the major risks of the Branch, which include but are not limited to, credit, market and liquidity, and operational risks.

· Assist the Head of Risk in ensuring compliance with the policies and guidelines of the Bank and regulators, as it relates to risk management.

Duties & Responsibilities

Assist Head of Risk in the following areas:

1. Credit risk Management

a) Ensures implementation of credit risk management policies, guidelines, and tools in the Branch.

b) Conducts credit evaluation on new exposures of the branch and performs annual review of existing facilities.

c) Monitors the credit exposure of the Branch by country risk, industry concentration, rating profile, large/top exposures and assets quality.

d) Prepares the expected credit loss for loans and investments, and credit stress testing, in coordination with HO.

1. Market and Liquidity Risk Management

a) Ensures implementation of market and liquidity risk management policies, guidelines, and tools in the branch.

b) Conduct risk assessment of new products.

c) Ensures all market and liquidity risk exposures are within approved limits, and all excesses/deviations are flagged and reported in accordance with established policies/guidelines.

1. Operational Risk Management

a) Ensures implementation of operational risk management policies, guidelines, and tools in the branch.

b) Monitors the timely submission of an ensures the review of the Risk and Control Self-assessment (RCSA) and Key Risk Indicators (KRI) of the Business Units (BU) and Support Units (SU).

c) Ensures the reporting of operational losses to HO – Operational Risk Management Unit and subsequent maintenance of the Loss Database.

d) In partnership with BCP Coordinator of the branch, conducts the testing and review of Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and call tree exercise.

e) Ensures implementation of the information Security Framework in the Branch. Monitors the timely submission of information security-related activities by the BU/SU.

1. Other Responsibilities

a) Performs other duties assigned.

• Monitor illegal or suspicious activity of Team Members and customers and escalating as necessary.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Secondary graduate or better
• Be literate in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Able to work shift work inclusive of nights, weekends and public holidays.
