• Working Location: Woodlands North (Transport Provided from North, Northeast and East areas)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and present DFM (Design for manufacturing)
• Construct the Tool design assembly layout
• Prepare and issue 2D detail insert & mould base drawing with appropriate tolerance for manufacturing
• Tool design must be manufacturability and can estimate cycle time base on as design
• Tool design concept able to run production efficiently with lowest cycle time
• Tool design capable to run auto cycle
• Assist in Customer Engineering Change
• Continual improvement on the tool concept
• Conduct tool design review to present his / her design concept
• Endorse and release tooling drawing to tool room for mould manufacturing
• Raise Purchase requisition for the tooling related direct and indirect purchase
• Any other duties and responsibilities delegated by superior

• Minimum NITEC qualification in Mechanical Engineering or specialization in Tool and Die.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in plastic tooling design.
• Practical experience in designing different types of moulds, with proficiency in CAD and CAE software, preferably Unigraphics, MPA Autodesk.
• Strong understanding of engineering plastic properties.
• Familiarity with medical moulds, LSR moulds, micro moulds, and high-cavitation moulds.

Job Title, Main Duties and Responsibilities

System Design Engineer

- Design Audio, Visual and Control Systems, KVM matrix and CCTV systems.

- Project implementation from design, install, programme, configure, training, commission and handover of the system.

- Project maintenance and services.

- Technical support in pre-sales stage included but not limited to proof of concepts, system and product demonstration.

- Technical support to sales team and ensure that the sales team are properly equipped with necessary technology skill sets and knowledge.

- Conduct presentation to customers, co-ordinate any pre-sales concerned involving proof of concepts, system and product demonstration.

- Assist sales team to help define and close opportunities for sales lead.

- Actively source for new technologies, innovative solutions, and evaluate them (including competitor analysis).

- Work closely with the sales team to plan and design a competitive and comprehensive technical solution.

- Prepare and delivery technical presentations, training and seminars to channel partners and prospects.

- Able to scope customer’s requirements and translate them into a technical proposal.

- Fulfil tender or proposal requirements, ensure comprehensive solution with compelling value proposition.

- Provide quotation to customers for run rate components related to specific brands represented by the company

- Other task assigned on a daily basis.
