The Assistant Steward Manager is generally responsible for keeping the restaurant premises clean and tidy and supervising a team of stewards, to maintain hygiene of the kitchen and serving area.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Ensure all the kitchen area and stations are kept perfectly dirt free at all times
2. Responsible for the tidiness and proper keeping of all sections
3. Stock take and ensure the availability of all needed material and supplies for the team to carry out their duties
4. Inspect and ensures floors are wiped, kitchen and stations are well maintained
5. Ensure all equipment is clean and in good working order
6. To move, stack, carry, load and unload equipment, food stuff and other articles
7. Garbage removal from all assigned areas according to company policies
8. Follow safe work practices
9. To have a well-groomed appearance at all times and to have a pleasant smiling attitude towards all guests
10. To maintain the highest possible level of personal hygiene
11. Performs other duties pertinent to this job as assigned.

1. Previous experience in a kitchen or in a service-related industry is preferred but not essential
2. Excellent physical condition

• Provide coaching and support to managers on employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
• Monitor HR metrics and analyse data to identify trends and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR roles, with at least 4 years of experience in a business partnering or HRBP role.
