Responsibilities

• Registration of new proposal submissions into system.
• Process policy amendment requests coming from daily inflow of documents received.
• Processing incoming New Business applications workflow .
• Sending of emails to intermediaries, informing of outstanding requirements / actions for assessment and policy inception.
• Manning the NBU counter, attending to intermediaries’ enquiries and acknowledgement on submission of new business documents (on rotational basis).
• Attending to email enquiries / requests coming from intermediaries.
• Assist on policy premium billings / refunds and despatch matters.
• Coordinate and collaborate with intermediaries and internal stakeholders to ensure daily work issues are resolved to provide appropriate and timely services to customers.
• Other duties include (but not limited to), back-up duties during team member’s absence and other ad hoc tasks as assigned by supervisors.
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks;
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company; and
• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

Requirements

• Diploma holder and above in related discipline (Banking/Finance/ Business/ Accounting) with relevant insurance certifications preferred.
• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry or in an administrative capacity with an eye for details (meticulous) and good communication skills preferred.
• Computer literacy with good working knowledge of MS Office (eg Excel, Word) applications.
• Problem solving, interpersonal skills, customer service orientated.
• Good team player with strong analytical skills & ability to work under pressure
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Contract: 1 year
• Salary: Up to $3200 + Completion Bonus
