Responsibilities

• To plan, schedule, coordinate, and/or monitor final approval of products through the complete production cycle
• To work from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules, labour loading, and capacity requirements
• To coordinate production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules
• To manage inventory control by analysing usage data and stock levels to order parts to satisfy service levels; I maintain inventory levels per plan and expedite shortages
• To determine material requirements from BOM and readiness of production schedules.
• To examine material variances, resolve problems where possible, and/or communicate more difficult problems to management
• To coordinate the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering.
• To obtain materials using engineering and production schedules to maintain inventory at planned levels
• To ensure material standards are met and non-conformances or variances are approved and/or minimised.
• To participate in any Lean project/process enhancement project.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain, Engineering, or any related field
• Applicants with no work experience but have relevant internship will be taken into consideration
• Experience in using SAP

Louis Vuitton is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Planner for the South Asia region. This role is based in Singapore and will be working closely with the zone Merchandising team for seasonal categories (RTW & Shoes). The incumbent will focus on continuous improvements to increase efficiencies within the Supply Chain process to support the business growth. Focusing on the job’s responsibilities, he/she analyses sales, stock, and performance (by category as per country portfolio) to provide recommendations to maximize opportunities and limit liabilities.

Duties & Responsibilities

Forecasting

• Revise Carry-over (“permanent”) products monthly sales forecast with analysis of sales trend.
• Provide the right support to the Merchandising team during showroom for the buy of new products.

Distribution

• Define the stock targets of the stores and ensure that stock targets are increasing / decreasing in line with the potential and the stock inventory.
• Secure a smooth replenishment of the stores and update distribution parameters when needed.
• Set up the distribution for new stores, organize stock support for opening, renovation and events.
• Constantly strive to optimize lead time and increase reactivity.

Seasonal products management

• Define/manage with Merchandising team the TOP Store priorities to optimize the impact at launch and align the transversal launch scenario with all categories.
• Check visibility and tension of new products before launch and manage priorities to fulfill complex launch strategies.
• Analyze and project the end-of-season Sell Through and implement optimization actions, rebalance the inventory to maximize the sales (two to three times per collection).
• Retrieve the end-of-season stock according to the target planning.

Client order management

• Maintain product status in Order Management System (orderable / non-orderable / under validation).
• Fulfill client orders through stock support, rebalancing, or escalation to Central team, ensuring that priorities are correctly applied.
• Communicate closely with the stores and provide visibility on fulfillment.

Inventory management

• Optimize the stock level in the network.
• Ensure timely rebalancing of overstock and out of offer products.
• Monitor and improve key KPIs: overstock, availability rate, long tail in order to avoid the risk of obsolescence.

Requirements & Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree – preferably in Operations Management or Supply Chain
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management, and/or retail fulfilment operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Power BI or equivalent, programming skills (VBA), SAP Experience is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize and work efficiently under pressure with the capacity to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
• Client-centric approach and commercial mindset.
• Possess an attention to detail with a critical thinking mindset.
• Team spirit with strong verbal and written communication: ability to simplify and synthesize.

Planning & Execution:

• Coordinate with customers, production, and planning staff to understand the material requirements
• Support the development and implementation of purchasing policies and procedures and ensuring all purchase are approved within mandated guidelines
• Assist management in identifying cost saving and drive activities to meet the cost reduction targets
• Control of materials inventory with prompt action for urgent materials requirement situation
• Collating reports and run statistical analysis to understand and maintain inventory support level
• Manage supplies to meet production plans and customers’ demand as well as ensure timely delivery of materials to support production build and meet targeted inventory turns
• Review monthly forecast and ensure material are planned and delivered to support the revenue requirement
• Monitor performance of suppliers to meet objectives in quality, flexibility, inventory control and actively engage suppliers to improve the deliverables (supplier evaluation and supplier development)
• Analyze product specifications to plan and ensure availability of materials and machines resources to ensure manufacturing work orders meet on time delivery schedule
• Responsible in daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual plans and report the plans and progress to management effectively

Production Capacity Planning:

• Plan schedules to ensure production line is optimized
• Simulation of capacity requirement for any insertion order or project orders
• Forward planning to even the loading by pulling forward or delaying loading to avoid capacity shortage

Others：

• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor/ Management

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma from a local Polytechnic or minimum Higher NITEC
• Proficient in MS Office
• Open to fresh graduates (diploma/higher NITEC)
• Experience in SAP is an added advantage
• 2 year administrative experience is advantageous
