Job Responsibilities:

• To perform monthly Balance Sheet and Bank reconciliations.
• To verify payment vouchers for accuracy & completeness and ensure supplier reconciliation is performed correctly with no long outstanding invoices.
• To support the Cost Controller in carrying out monthly inventory checks if required.
• To support Cost Control function in the absence of the Cost Controller.
• To assist in the preparation of all financial statements, income statements, forecasts, and budgets.
• Performs any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Finance Manager or the Management.

Requirement:

• 2-3 years of experience in handling GL.

Looking for an immediate starter with at least 1-2 years of corporate tax experience. Strong General Ledger (GL) experience is highly preferred.

Job description:

• In charge of the preparation of entities’ monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with all regulatory requirements, including SFRS, Corporate tax, Charity and IPC specific reporting obligations
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including the analysis and commentary on major variances
• Provide monthly audit schedules and assist in internal and external audit queries
• In charge for preparation of company entities corporate tax (ECI) and work closely with tax agent to file annual corporate tax returns
• Handle all tax queries and tax audit whenever required
• Assist with preparation of transfer pricing documentation
• Support and ensure compliance with all financial filling requirements, corporate tax filling requirement
• Involve in continuous process improvement for more effective and efficient operation
• Assist in new business initiatives and system implementation when required
• Able to work within tight deadlines

Qualifications and requirements:

• Degree in accounting or ACCA and its equivalent
• Minimum 3 years working experience preferably with audit/tax background
• Good working knowledge of SFRS, Singapore tax and IPC requirements
• Well-versed in MS Office, especially MS Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook
• A self-starter who can plan, organize and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently
• Can-do attitude, good team player, driven and passionate
