REQUIREMENT

1. Bachelor’s degree and above in Marine Navigation /Maritime Studies, etc.

2. Sailing experience on dry bulk carriers (cape size) as Captain;

3. At Least 12 years of ship operation and chartering experience in dry bulk sector;

4. Thorough understanding of the cyclical dry bulk chartering market;

5. Thorough knowledge of chartering and operations software, such as Veson Nautical’s IMOS, etc.;

6. Formal COSCO and other Chinese Fleet Group Company experience would be an advantage.

Job Description:

• Provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients as well as supervise, guide and direct junior nurses assigned to your team.
• You will have opportunities to work in the wards, High Dependency Units (HDUs), Intensive Care Units (ICUs), Renal Dialysis Unit, Psy Ward, Radiology and Endoscopy settings.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Nursing or equivalent.
• Advanced diploma / post-basic certificate in any discipline for the Senior Staff Nurse position
• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board
• Able to perform three rotating shifts that include weekends and public holiday
• Must have fully completed COVID-19 vaccinations

• Oversee and manage business P&L and budget to ensure business profitability and quality.
• In-charge of department operational efficiency and major projects.
• Establish company standards, policies, goals, and safety guidelines for the business.
• Establish company annual and mid-term budgets.
• Work closely with sales department in acquiring and retaining customers.
• Maintain good relationships with customers and address their needs.
• Develop warehousing strategies and budgets.
• Optimize resources and space within the business unit.
• Execute warehousing development projects and ensure compliance.
• Monitor 3PL activities for cost efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other departments to maximize opportunities.
• Plan commercial joint ventures with associates.
• Support constant improvement to optimize procedures, cut expenses, and boost operational effectiveness.
• Ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Logistics Management or equivalent.
• At least 5 - 8 years of operational experience in 3PL and warehousing industry, with supervisory experience.
• Prior experience in automation technology and logistics business will be ideal.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Finance Associate to join the Finance team and contribute to a fast-paced team with ample opportunity to grow with the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Periodic financial closing and reporting (monthly, quarterly and annually), ensure accurate and timely submission of group financial reports;Preparation of monthly journals and balance sheet schedules
  In charge of consolidation, AR billing process
  Reviewer role for AP entries
  Partnering with SCM on PR/PO/delivery related matters
  Performing flux analysis on financial reports
  
• Preparation of quarterly and yearly income tax computations and ensure compliance with relevant tax authorities
• Preparation of annual financial statements (including preparation of XBRL)
• Act as key liaise person with external auditors
• Support in financial areas and work with cross-functional teams
• In-charge of projects such as process improvement and/or system migration as assigned
• Review submissions to governmental and other regulatory bodies (i.e. GST submission, government statistics surveys, grants claim preparation) and
• All ad-hoc tasks as assigned

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or related field
• Minimum 3-4 years of Big 4 audit experience
• Strong understanding of accounting standards
• Proactive, experience in problem solving and analysis
• Able to work independently and possesses strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in start-up environment

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in financial reporting for public listed companies will be a plus
• Industry experience will be a plus
• Meticulous, organised and attention to detail
